The host was really friendly and helpful, even driving in to NY late Friday evening when we locked us out, big thanks! We will book it again!

  The location is perfect. Pretty near of touristic sites, such as Time Square, Rockfeller Center, Empire State Building and others. Subway lines are pretty near also. The rooms are cleaned everyday. Although bathroom is shared, there is no inconvenient about it once there are more than one per floor. The staff is friendly. The room was very clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable! I also loved how close it was to everything we planned on doing in Manhattan. Not a big deal for us, the apartment was clean and quiet, pretty - This was a great apartment at an excellent location, only four blocks from Time Square. Nice and quit with a window against the back. A lot of equipment in the kitchen, it was possible to cook all the meals there. It was a nice deli right down on the corner. I will defintly recommend this apartment to anyone, and I will stay here next time I go to NY.

  When I book a hotel in midtown Manhatten for under $200, I am happy with clean sheets, clean towels and a clean bathroom. I got all of this at Hotel 31. It is no frills, so anyone who comes from out of town expecting a luxury hotel and then complaining about this is sorely misguided when it comes to Manhattan hotel prices. Staff - This is a lovely small hotel at a very convenient and perfectly safe location. It really is at the center - so I walked most of the sightseeing attractions nearby. The staff is very friendly, organized and always available. I stayed in a room with shared bathroom and the bathroom was always free and clean when I wanted to use it. My bed was big enough and very comfortable and there was a sink in the room so I could wash my face and teeth without needing to go to the bathroom. My room was cleane
