I loved the service at the hotel. A small misunderstanding initially and immediately comped a couple of services for me. Was there for 6 fantastic days at a very peak period at high price but absolutely worth it. I was made to feel very comfortable especially as a woman travelling alone. Great location. Every single staff member we encountered went way beyond the call of duty to make sure that we enjoyed our stay.
We must commend Bill Sutton, Head Concierge, and his staff for especially excellent service. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to San Francisco.

For the price it had everything I expected and more. While small the spa area and exercise area were superior and the staff GREAT. I just wish it opened earlier than 9 am. The staff was very good as was the business center ( small but adequate). I would stay t here again and would recommend it to others.

It was in a perfect location for conference at a Union Square hotel as well as shopping and entertainment. I'd definitely stay there again. Loved it.

able to really enjoy everything in walking distance. We would return
again. We normally stay around the corner but after such a lovely stay
at The Sir Frances Drake, we would definiltey stay there again.

We were extremely pleased with this hotel. The location was fantastic and the extra touches.....coffee, tea & hot chocolate in the morning, wine, beer and hot cider between 5 and 6 and then cookies later in the evening made the stay even more pleasant. We were able to get a great price through letsbookhotel.com and the room and the staff were great. We would definitely stay again.

First, I found that staying in Alameda as opposed to San Francisco, our destination, was not a bad idea at all. Parking is available and included. The room was spacious and clean. This hotel is "top drawer" all the way! - The hotel was quite grand, and very luxerious in the common areas. The location worked well for us, as we seemed to be no more than a 10 minute cab ride from just about every where we went. The view from our Tower room was the clincher. We had a beautiful bay view.
