For the price it had everything I expected and more. While small the spa area and exercise area were superior and the staff GREAT. I just wish it opened earlier than 9 am. The staff was very good as was the business center ( small but adequate). I would stay t here again and would recommend it to others. Rick Brown. Staff were very friendly and most helpful. The room was comfortable, the decor was interesting and bonuses for me were free internet and plenty of electrical outlets. It was in a perfect location for conference at a Union Square hotel as well as shopping and entertainment. I'd definitely stay there again. Loved it.

The hotel was neat and clean which is important to me and was very visually appealing which is always nice and helps make me want to visit again. on arrival we were made to feel important and welcomed. beautiful accommodation, friendly, very helpful staff. brought a thoughtful gift to room for my daughter's birthday great ,location to Union Square, cable cars, restaurants and shoppimg. The hotel overall was excellent and a high point of our trip. In particular the spa services and restaurant were outstanding. All of the staff were efficient and friendly and representative of the service we have found at Kimptpn hotels. East of the hotel is Union Square and excellent places to shop - Tiffany & Co., Direct Shoe Warehouse and Westfield. Great Japanese food and local diner food on Geary too. The hotel is stylish, and the rooms very fresh and well done. They offer a wine happy hour in the afternoons and coffee in the morning in their living room. It made for a very enjoyable stay. The massage I had in the spa downstairs was terrible, and the spa facilities weren't very good. This area in San Francisco is pretty seedy and run down. ALthough it has plenty of nice buildings and good hotels. They weren't clear about the wifi service when we checked in, which could have resulted in us paying and unnecessary fee. Also, I have stayed there before and knew to expect a small room, but this was even smaller than I expected. There was no room for a chair other than the desk chair, so one of us had to sit on the bed when we had room service. Our room was next to an elevator, so we had a lot of noise. Also, the workout facilities were a little sparse (not bad though). The only annoyances are, no free WiFi – surely no one should still be charging for WiFi! And the parking is expensive in SF. The hotel offer concierge parking which is really pricey ~$50 a day. But you can find parking yourself for ~$24 a day. We did get a spa treatment which was awesome but when I was trying to split the bill the lady could not figure out what I wanted to do which resulted in my having to charge the room. Then when I got the final bill the spa treatment had not even be added. I thought it was very unprofessional. Could use more room for toiletries in the bathroom. Poor advice from reception staff re transport to the airport. I didn't love the quality of the bedsheets and towels. It would be nice to have a comforter with a cover rather than covered with a sheet. The towels were rather old. The tv channels were rather limited. I was hoping to watch AMC but no luck. Room was a bit small. There was nothing that I really didn't like -- rooms were on the small side and bathroom faucet made a lot of noise. Minor. Nothing!. no coffee in the room available downstairs. With weddings on the weekend, lots of opening and closing doors-a bit too loud… Restaurant should open earlier for breakfast and have more choice…healthier options (great bagels and granola). The restaurant. Tv and Internet- we get direct Tv (more channels) and free wireless at holiday inn! The spa was lacking. Walk a block down and area's not great; but that's any city. The lobby design needs an update, which I'm sure is coming. Bathrooms could use a dimmer switch or a nightlight for middle of the night use without flipping on bright bath lighting. The room was quite small. Rooms were clean, but dusty. Needed a good deep clean. Staff forgot to deliver an item i'd requested. I was close to a room with a dog and loud music playing. As this was a business trip, I would have liked a quieter room. The King Suite was tough even with 2 kids. The pull out sofa is just not a good experience for 7 nights for our boys. staff too busy... Location was close o Union Square which also brings with it a close by bad neighborood. Rooms a little small, but that is okay, they had everything you need. Nothing. A bit cold rooms - couldn't work out the a/c.
