  We booked one night away from being busy parents on our honeymoon and had an amazing time at La Flora. A beautiful hotel with beautiful staff. A lovely lady could not wait to take us to our room and show us the honeymoon cake, decorations and special things they had arranged for us. Loved the location so close to Bangala - If you decide to stay in Patong, this place has a great location, with immediate access to the sea, a short walk to all shopping and night-life venues. Well, it's definitely not top-luxury, but clean, comfortable hotel with spacious rooms. Definitely gay-friendly, the gay beach is right behind the hotel.

  The staff were extremely helpful, the little bus service to and from your accommodation was great given it is built on a hillside.   We stayed in a Junior suite in the Thani wing (on beach) Bhuri wing is across the road and not as nice. We also had a family package which included a fantastic huge buffet breakfast and 10% of all other F & B in the resort. Great Happy Hour in beach bar. Also, just a short ride in taxi or tuk tuk to Kata or Karon shops and lots of restauran... what people say » ts. We stayed as well at Bang Tao beach at Outrigger Resort which was beautiful and more luxurious - but preferred Katathani due to its location and - Really nice hotel, lots of facilities, friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast, nice location away from the hustle and bustle of Kata. The first night we had a lot of noise around our room in a ground floor Bhuri wing room (near to the breakfast restaurant), so the next morning I spoke to reception and they immediately moved us to a top floor room elsewhere in the Bhuri wing and after that we slept very well. Worth getting down to the little cafes on the beach and grab yourself a cheap coco

  As a family traveling with a 15month old, the two bedroom apartment walking out to the pool (room 101) we hired was ideal. Some of the rooms located closer to the carpark can be more noisy. There are two beaches located nearby. Surin beach is the closer, and cleaner, whilst Bang Tao is a further walk. She assisted with bookings, guided us and I later found out baked the - This Place is fantastic,, luxury at a very reasonable price. I was here for a friends wedding in The Surin and it was perfect. Our two bed apartment was spotlessly clean and had every thing we wanted or needed. Great staff and beautiful cheap food!
