  Coming to Koh Phangan specifically for the full moon party, it was the perfect getaway from all the noise/obnoxious activity at Haad Rin. The staff were absolutely amazing from the moment we showed up on the property.. Getting a beach front bungalow is definitely worth it, as the view was beauutiful. I gave the food a b- only thanks to their aweso... what people say » me breakfast. The hill coming in is pretty steep, yes. But if you're in good shape it's not a real issue. I read so many reviews before I decided to s - Inredibly relaxing and beautiful/scenic location with really nice music playing at all times. Very secluded and quiet with a feel of being some place great because of all the comforts of a trendy hotel, but nobody there.

  This is a review that I would much rather not do and rather keep Nice Sea Resort as much of a secret as possible, but that would not be fair. My wife and I were given a very warm welcome by Mr Nice, who personally showed us to our Bungalow & gave us a general run down of how things at the resort operated.   The view from the villas was lovely and the infinity pool was amazing (and usually deserted). The elevator to take you up and down the hillside was an adventure in itself and not too much of a pain (as you have to wait five minutes at the bottom if you call it when it is at the top).   We stayed at Palita Lodge during the April 2013 Full Moon. The resort is located on the quieter end of the beach, and on nights other than the full moon, its only a short 5 minute walk from all the excitement. The full moon event occurs along the complete stretch of the beach, however the resort stays quiet and secure.   Amazing place!! At the north of the island which is argubly the most beautiful part. Set on the beach is such a great place to relax and unwind. Staff were friendly, restaurant sold mixture of food and the bar a great selection of cocktails. And is far nicer being out of haad rin after the full moon ( there beach is trashed and no where to relax). Local area thong n - Spectacular location. We've been travelling for 1 month in the South of Thailand doing Island hopping and this beach is by far the MOST BEAUTIFUL ever! The bungalows are spacious and clean and a good price for where it is. The veranda was a nice touch. Food at the restuarant is also yummy and nicely lit by night. This location is just AMAZING !!!! Don't miss it!

  I stayed for three nights and liked it very much. In combination with the price of 30e/night, I'm even giving it 5 stars (though for that money, naturally you're not getting one of the "private pool" suites but their smallest, still very comfortable double room.) It can happen that you get a room in one of the buildings up the steep mountain slope... what people say » though (I diddn't). The upside is a great view, the downside is: stairs. I think it would be a small, but valuable improvement if the hotel manager s - Staff is really helpful and frienly. Hotel is located on a very beautiful and quiet beach, it´s almost like a paradise! Special thanks of the birthdaycake and sparkling wine at the breakfast on 3.10.2013! =) The villa(number 5) with pool and seawiev is great! We had a great week in this resort and we really recommend this hotel to everybody!

  This is our second time at lime and soda, the food is great, staff were very friendly and helpful, location is nice and quiet the beach isent the best but this is NOT the resorts fault, we went for a swim joining lots of other people and had no problems. We only left because we found a house to rent as we are on a month's fact-finding mission, travelling around the island to see if Phangan is the place for our retirement home. And we believe it is! We originally booked for 3 nights but had to leave 1 day earlier and the manager was kind enough not to charge us! The pool was kind of on the beach and its view was super! Lots of young adults were staying in the hotel so the over all atmosphere was very nice. ... what people say » Was a 5 min walk to Haadrin beach.   We had one of the garden cottages. I liked the fact that this meant you couldn't really hear neighbours etc when asleep. The private beach was small but nice and quiet. - good location

  Beck's Resort is beautifully located at the beach with wonderful views of some little islands. It has a beach bar and a restaurant that serves great food, both Thai and Western style. I have read that others said you can't swim there - well, I could. Depending only in the tide. I can absolutely recommend this place! - I stayed a week but not during the full moon !
