This is a review that I would much rather not do and rather keep Nice Sea Resort as much of a secret as possible, but that would not be fair. My wife and I were given a very warm welcome by Mr Nice, who personally showed us to our Bungalow & gave us a general run down of how things at the resort operated. all reviews » The resort is family run and managed by Mr Nice (nice by name, nice by nature) nothing was too much trouble. On arrival we were welcomed and soon felt at home. We had an air conditioned bungalow that was spacious and clean and provided a comfortable base for our stay. Located on the beach (which was raked and cleaned every morning)with all necessary facilities and the bonus of an excellent restaurant the resort provides all that is needed. We hired a scooter to explore the island and while doi. the hotel owner - Mr. Nice - is very friendly and helpful he can give you any advice about all things that you wanna know. the bungallows are really great - stylish, clean and new. the breakfast is really delicious and very big - it can be a meal for the full day :-) I would like to say that the restaurant of this hotel is the best among all other restaurants that we have been to. the beach is very nice - private, peacefull, clean and very beatiful. there is also massage saloon on the beach and. Lovely host, great authentic place to stay. Super clean!! Very calm and relaxing atmosphere, just this little bit away from the buzz of the island but close enough to bike back to town to enjoy the afternoon / evening markets. A few kitchens and resaurants around to have a variable thai - food experience. Great place also for kids, very quiet beach with calm waters. You need to have a motorbike to get around, it is cheaper to hire (3 bikes!!) for a day than go one way in a Taxi.... Just go slow. Staying here was a dream for us, we enjoyed every minute of it! The bungalows are literally just a few meters away from the white sandy beach. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, totally worth the price for it! The location is great, in 2minutes walk you can reach lots of restaurants, bars, massage places and supermarkets as well! And the owner Mr Nice is extremely helpful! We couldn't wish for anything better!. I stayed there for 14 days as near to my yoga classes, I loved the tailored attention to each guest and going the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable and stress free. The bungalows itself are clean and well designed, with hammocks on the terrace. Stuff is really friendly and looking forward to help and mr. Nice is the best businessman I met during my Asia trips. At times the shower water has a bit of a smell to it when the taps are first opened, this maytake a minute or so to clear & is caused by hydrogen sulfide in the water supply & is no fault of the resort. Once you know how to deal with it, it isn't a problem. Everything was good or better. nothing!. Manual flush toilets in the cheapest bungalows, but that was not a problem. An ant problem in our bungalow I woke up one night with ants in my bed!. Nothing apart from a dripping shower head in the bathroom. You need to rent a scooter to get around but that is the case for every hotel. The dogs were a nuisance for one of us but none of the rest of us had issues. Our air conditioning and tv switched on and off regularly which was frustrating!. Nothing. The hotel passes all costs onto the customer (e,g letsbookhotel.com fees, paypal fees, credit card fees) and I feel they are costs a business should incur. The hotel is a long way from Haad Rin (35mins). Location is a bit remote but with a scooter you are fine. The day we had to leave... Do not rent a bike from Andoo Bike Service beside the hotel. They are professionnal scam artists!!!. The aircon often went off during the night due to power cuts. Also there are lots of noisy dogs. I missed not having a pool but the sea made up for that. *Cheapest room is too dark. Price is too high in our opinion. Sea is very shallow and beach looks not so clean. We didn't see "Mr. Nice" anymore after the expensive pickup from the pier.
