  Coco Lanta is a wonderful and relaxing resort. It is well situated on the northern part of Klong Khong Beach. There are several Mini Marts and a 7-Eleven in walking distance.   The bungalows are fantastic and if you ask for it you can get one with sea views. This is a very quiet and relaxing place to stay by the beach, the bit right by the complex has a bit of rocks in there but you can get to a place without rocks in 2 minutes. Within Marina Lanta resort there is Marina restaurant, the couple who runs it is just amazing, and the food is really simple, cheap - We stayed in 6 different hotels in Thailand! This was by far the best. Booked for 1 night stayed for 5! Stunning Bungalows, with a hammock on the balcony near the Beach, I read a review sating it was to far from a nice beach which is crazy! Your on the beach front in Minutes. Yes you had the odd lizard in your room but its all part of the Charm and for the Price you cant really complain. The Manager was amazing! She was so helpful anything we needed she sorted it out instantly, I have never met

This is a big resort, filled with almost exclusively Swedish families who are obviously staying here for awhile.   On the beach, really nice wooden bungalows. Everything is natural and made of wood so that they take care of the conservance of the place. - Excellent and helpful staff, great food in the restaurant, most of the staff speak good english.
