  We stayed in a Junior suite in the Thani wing (on beach) Bhuri wing is across the road and not as nice. We also had a family package which included a fantastic huge buffet breakfast and 10% of all other F & B in the resort. Great Happy Hour in beach bar. Also, just a short ride in taxi or tuk tuk to Kata or Karon shops and lots of restauran... what people say » ts. We stayed as well at Bang Tao beach at Outrigger Resort which was beautiful and more luxurious - but preferred Katathani due to its location and - Really nice hotel, lots of facilities, friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast, nice location away from the hustle and bustle of Kata. The first night we had a lot of noise around our room in a ground floor Bhuri wing room (near to the breakfast restaurant), so the next morning I spoke to reception and they immediately moved us to a top floor room elsewhere in the Bhuri wing and after that we slept very well.   My husband and I celebrated my birthday in Phuket, and the hotel staffs came up with a surprise cake on my birthday. It was the most unforgettable and sweetest memory that we've ever had in the hotel! - Everything!   It was the best hotel we stayed in Thailand. Really nice and clean room with nice european style bathroom (which I really appreciate) with balcony and TV with English programms.   The rooms were fantastic, we had a grand deluxe, the staff amazing so attentive and always happy and smiling. As far as location goes I would never stay in patong or karon , although we did tuktuk most days to patong I still love kata beach . I had a baby and staff were more then happy to assist with extra water for her bottles ect. The last time was with my wife for honeymoon. In general, I am very satisfied with the stay for both times. The facility is quite new and clean with a stylish design. I stayed with a deluxe room on the 4th floor with the pool view, but I can also enjoy a good sea view from the balcony. The location of the hotel is on the way up to the hill, but it's very convenient for a 5 mins walk to the beach and the restaurants. I would definitely go there agai
