It was not too crowded so plenty of space by the pool. Beach was lovely.

Ordered dessert wrongly but staff at Black Ginger instantly changed without issues, and we were not charged for our first round of incorrect orders...way to go to ensure we will be back. We loved our stay at Baan Mandala Villa 7. Only a short walk to Bang Tao beach along a small road with more or less no traffic. The area is very quiet but close to everything you need. The villa has everything you need, spacious with high ceilings and a very large swimm - Really close to the beach - the "Great room" was spectacular! The beds were the softest I have slept on in a long while. iPod docking station came in handy as there was no other form of music, other than the television. There were even movies available for free for the dvd. I loved the privacy. Calling out for dinner is simple and food is fantastic.

Second time we go there and we found most of our friends back. A place to relax completely away from hectic things but in a very close distance to a big offer of places to visit and things to do. Staff and owners are super great hosts and we didn't regret for a second coming back to this place. -

As a family traveling with a 15month old, the two bedroom apartment walking out to the pool (room 101) we hired was ideal.
Some of the rooms located closer to the carpark can be more noisy.
There are two beaches located nearby. Surin beach is the closer, and cleaner, whilst Bang Tao is a further walk. The latter beach has a better local flavor.

This Place is fantastic,, luxury at a very reasonable price. I was here for a friends wedding in The Surin and it was perfect. Our two bed apartment was spotlessly clean and had every thing we wanted or needed. Great staff and beautiful cheap food!
