  The Staff were very friendly and helpful. The reception were friendly on arrival and there was nothing which was too much trouble. After travelling it was great that we could immediately get into our room. The food was good and so helpful to have a weekend breakfast special.   The charm of staying at a real pub cannot be denied, especially coming from the U.S.. The staff was uniformly excellent, especially waiting up for us after our very late-night arrival. We stayed in a King Suite that was not directly over the pub, so had no issues with noise. The room was huge and included a very romantic 4-poster canopy bed.   Excellent service from property owner and very good and clean facilities. Position is excellent and that the owner organised transport for us to the airport (4am), was very much appreciated, We loved that there is a curfew on planes as we thought we might have been kept awake all night.   I don't frequently provide reviews of hotels, but Ohtel is very special. It is all the things hotels would probably like to be, but don't quite achieve. Ohtel is seriously stylish. It provides a luxurious experience, while being close to the heart of beautiful Wellington. I cant wait to book again! - Gorgeous hotel, fantastic value for money.... what people say » Location was perfect. The room was really well appointed. Was also really impressed with the little bar in the foyer - awesome chicken pie and glass of wine while killing time on my way back to the airport. Highly recommended!

I read so many varying reviews on the hotel before making the booking and after staying here can confidently say that it was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed.   We stayed in room 3, it was clean and had everything we needed. We stayed with a toddler and baby and it was great. Fairly compact, but just enough room. The manager drove us to the airport in the morning and was generally really friendly and accommodating.   Loved the cottage all facilities were good, disappointed there was no milk for coffee after a long trip, otherwise great inside. - Unlike a hotel room it felt very homely. Great having it's own car park and so close to town and restaurants.

We were picked up within five minutes of arrival, transported to our spotless, comfortable, quiet room. A wake up call was arranged for us, and an early morning taxi was there waiting for us. I had the best night's sleep, without any worries, after a really good pub meal recommended at the hotel.
