from the moment we arrived the staff were very obliging & helpful...loved our car being parked for us ...loved the fact it was handy to the shops & the TSB Arena & everything else on the water front ...very handy accommodation ... wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The spa club room was delightful. Everything about the room was good. Pity we were not staying longer. Club facilities were very good. Excellent wine selections. all reviews » great service best hotel by far in wellington , even the resturant was awsome . stayed in club room was well worth the exta money free cocktails from 5.30-7 pm and a great breakfast on the top floor with veiws over the harbour. Lovely clean Hotel, very nice staff everywhere, eco-friendly, great central city location and a strong building in an earthquake. The Hotel has a very comfortable feel in all areas, most enjoyable stay thank you. SS. Excellent location and facilities. Good value with breakfast included and no refund. Business vibe might put some off. Not a problem at weekends. The staff were very friendly and approachable. Very quick to accommodate us. Paying for Internet - this should be complimentary!. friend I was travelling with found the bed uncomfortable as sloping away to one side.She did mention it to reception when we checked out.Told the hotel is having a refit soon!!. High side of bath. Just felt it needed an upgrade. Didn't think it was worth the money. leaving. nothing. Time for a revamp I guess. I found the hotel decor very tired and certainly not up to 5 star price. I travel extensivley and mostly stay in 4/5 star and it just doesnt measure up given the price. Wifi very expensive and poor 4 star at best. Fixed shower was difficult as you could not work the taps without being under the full flow of the water. Shower curtain should be replaced with glass. Room curtains are tired. No cold water on Saturday morning = no shower. A refusal for a late check out after being told 'engineers were working on the problem'.
