  We love Macy's - This is the only place to stay in Tauranga!! The Hosts are so friendly and helpful (we saw a poster advertising Katipo Adventures and got all the info to go and visit). The rooms are set up so well and the Staff are so quick and helpful - nothing seems a bother to them. And it is a quiet beautiful place. Oh and watching the rugby ... what people say » from the Spa Bath. . . Priceless :0) - The staff were wonderful. They could not do enough for us, and went out of their way to help with things which were not really their responsibility. If I find myself in that part of the world again, I most certainly will make sure I am staying there.

  The hotel was very clean, inviting. It is right on the waterfront (but not a beach). The view from the room, the lounge and the dining room looks out over the water. It has a nice restaurant, and snacks and beverages available in the lounge all day. A cooler of infused water is available with glasses all day.   Amazing hotel like I'd just been transported back to the 70's bit with a lot of character. I loved the bed super comfy. It had all the facilities you expect from a City hotel.The bathroom designer should be dispensed with though. The toilet is about 2" from the wall ha-ha, You have to sit side saddle on it. As hotels stays go I was a bit apprehensive having read mixed reviews but this place for comfort gets the thumbs - The old-worldliness of the decor - reminded me of an old beauty I stayed in at the Blue Mountains (NSW). The continental breakfast included in the price! The spa bath at the end of a busy day, set in a large shiny clean bathroom. All of the staff, not just front desk, who smiled and looked like they enjoyed working there. Very comfy beds! The balcony with table & chairs - wish we had time to sit in the setting sun and enjoy it.

The apartment was on the ground floor and very quiet.

  We enjoyed the whole experience, staff, cleanliness, excellent supply of coffees, milk etc as a bonus plunger coffee, awesome!! Catered to our needs with young infant. Restaurants nice and handy within walking distance.   The location was excellent, right in the middle of town. The service was personal, kind and friendly. You were really made to feel welcome. The room itself was amazing - spacious, clean and luxurious. The view from the room was awe-inspiring and just made everything better. The motel was like a home away from home and if I'm ever in the area again... what people say » , I won't even look at going anywhere else. The motel made my holiday all that much better and I thank them so much for it. Top notch, ten out of ten! - This hotel seems to have been quite recently refurbished. The decor is contemporary and high quality. It is well equipped with a small kitchen area. We booked a harbourside room. We arrived in the dark so when we opened our curtains in the morning we were thrilled with the lovely location and view outside. Free wifi and within easy walking distance to some excellent restaurants. A very nice hotel. We would definitely stay there again.

  I Loved the nice soft minky blanket on the bed, very cosy. It smelt and felt clean....this is really important to me as I have come across bedding that I can only presume is dirty and I will strip the bed of anything yucky as it revolts me.   Our time at Asure was excellent. Staff were very friendly & helpful. It is set beautifully on the estuary with close access to shops & easy drive to Mt Maunganui, Whakatane & many other sites. - Liked everything they had to offer. It was very central to where I was playing a snooker tournament for 3 days and I found it very relaxing.

  We thought the staff and value for money of the establishment were excellent. The motel itself was well placed for us as we had easy, quick access to town and Bethlehem college, where our daughter and son-in-law were preforming in the band nationals.
