  I was showing an older person a good hotel/good food experience for the first time in her life.(she's 80yrs old) She loved every minute including your delightful hotel pool. (we were too tired to get into the hot pools) The food in the restaurant was perfectly cooked. The breakfast was lovely with ample choice. All in all a marvellous experience... what people say » with such helpful staff. Very good value for money as well. - The bed was very comfortable and the views were amazing! The Club Lounge breakfast was fantastic. The drinks and nibbles in the lounge in the evening were brilliant and a great way to unwind. The host of the Club Lounge is very friendly, offers some fantastic advice for travel in the region and looks after his guests very well. I was very impressed with him.

  It's a very lovely property, in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood, close to many attractions and to the city enter. The one bedroom apartments had all the amenities making for a pleasant stay there. It has nice grounds with picnic tables, swimming pool and sauna. We loved the temperature of water (around 32 C - 94 F) in the swimming pool and also enj... what people say » oyed the sauna. The management was very friendly and helpful. We also liked that every unit has a parking spot next to it. - Very well presented. The management very friendly and gave us free milk on 2 days as we were at a Choral Festival and could not go shopping to get the groceries on the 2nd day. Also it had v nice furniture and fittings with a lovely bathroom and shower and fresh plunger Coffee - a luxury before going to bed!

  This hotel is fabulous!! We really enjoyed our night there so much so that we booked another night. There was a lady and gentleman temporally looking after the motel and they where so helpful on the local area and where so welcoming. The rooms are spotless and have all that you need and more! The staff were super friendly and helpful as we didn't have to many days in the area Marie certainly helped us make the most of it with her suggestions.   Strategic location. Very close to several attractions. The staffs are really friendly and helpful. You'll definitely enjoy the hot tub after a long day. The surroundings are quiet and mostly occupied by families. The rooms are clean and well-equipped with everything you'll ever needed during your stay there. The private spa and pool plus the on-site restaurant is a big plus if you really don't want to go out and about.   I liked the location very convenient. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful when we first arrived, even offered great sight seeing options around rotorua. The rooms were well maintained and they even gave out extra pots when we needed it for cooking. Our overall experience was fantastic and will highly recommend this place to anyone ... what people say » visiting Rotorua. We will definitely be staying here again when we visit Rotorua again. Great stuff everyone at New Castle. - Lovely, friendly couple who run this place. They are so passionate and knowledgeable about Rotorua and activities there. It was very clean, warm and it felt like true hospitality. It was also very quiet and private, great relaxing environment and peaceful getaway. It is also close to many of the attractions - Redwoods, Lakes and CBD in general. Would highly recommend New Castle Motor Lodge.

The Hostess was friendly and obliging, the unit was clean and tidy, bed was good, shower was good and hot with excel - The owners are very friendly and knowledgable about the area. The two- level split apartment met our needs perfectly giving everybody a lot of freedom. The electric blankets helped keep us warm, the balcony was a nice relaxing spot. We simply enjoyed our stay and will be back.
