The Staff were very friendly and helpful. The reception were friendly on arrival and there was nothing which was too much trouble. After travelling it was great that we could immediately get into our room. The food was good and so helpful to have a weekend breakfast special. We liked the rooms, the location to what we wanted, the nice smile from the counter staff , the cleaning of the room.. even though we did not put the ' clean room' sign out, The care of the manager /owner when the quake struck with a cold beer.The blankets given when the fire alarm went ...after standing outside for ages.

The charm of staying at a real pub cannot be denied, especially coming from the U.S.. The staff was uniformly excellent, especially waiting up for us after our very late-night arrival. We stayed in a King Suite that was not directly over the pub, so had no issues with noise. The room was huge and included a very romantic 4-poster canopy bed.

A really nice 'pub' atmosphere, the room quaintly colonial, bedding and linen,towels etc immaculately clean. Really comfy bed! Loved the place!

Excellent service from property owner and very good and clean facilities. Position is excellent and that the owner organised transport for us to the airport (4am), was very much appreciated, We loved that there is a curfew on planes as we thought we might have been kept awake all night. Would definitely stay again. Thanks! -

I don't frequently provide reviews of hotels, but Ohtel is very special. It is all the things hotels would probably like to be, but don't quite achieve. Ohtel is seriously stylish. It provides a luxurious experience, while being close to the heart of beautiful Wellington. I cant wait to book again! -

Fantastic 2 bedroom apartment within a hotel complex meant that we could all be together in a spacious & comfortable setting. Very friendly & obliging right through from reception & concierge staff to the valets/porters & housekeepers. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay again. The location was excellent and the staff were terrific, very helpful. The kitchen facilities and small lounge areas were also good. The showers were wonderful, bathrooms were cleaned often, security was great. -

I thought the place was fabulous! My 11 year old and 17 year old were very happy and comfortable too! The location is excellent and we made use of the cafe and proximity to the museum and courtney place buses and eateries! Would definitely stay here again and even my husband enjoyed viewing all the various art works. 9.5/10

We stayed in room 3, it was clean and had everything we needed. We stayed with a toddler and baby and it was great. Fairly compact, but just enough room.
The manager drove us to the airport in the morning and was generally really friendly and accommodating.

I stayed at female dormitory with a shared bathroom. Which was handy. Very good location to go to anywhere as it is in downtown. Also there is a bar in a same building and they provided beers with a good deal. Each staff was friendly and I enjoyed conversations with them.

Loved the cottage all facilities were good, disappointed there was no milk for coffee after a long trip, otherwise great inside. -

Everything we needed for an overnight stop before catching an early morning flight home. We were picked up within five minutes of arrival, transported to our spotless, comfortable, quiet room. A wake up call was arranged for us, and an early morning taxi was there waiting for us. I had the best night's sleep, without any worries, after a really good pub meal recommended at the hotel.

An oldish hotel starting to show its age, but still a very comfortable and spacious room. It was my second stay at Brentwood, so they are doing something right :-)
Staff helpful and friendly. Nice and quiet despite the airport being so close, and having a group of teenage basketball players in the rooms alongside mine.
