  The staff were fantastic - friendly and helpful. The location was right in the city and it was an easy walk and elevator ride down to Lambton Quay, the waterfront, supermarket, shops etc. I especially liked the fact that given we had preschool-age children, the rooms weren't adorned with things they could 'play' with (wreck!). It was exactly what ... wat mensen zeggen » we expected and had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. The makeup wipes in the bathroom were an excellent idea too! Parking was onsite and visib - It exceeded my expectations. For being in the heart of the city, it was great value for the money. I was worried it would be the least of places we stayed in NZ. Instead it was the nicest. My daughter and I enjoyed the access to the pool and exercise equipment, and the lift to downtown. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was most comfortable with a great kitchen, and our own washer / dryer. We would certainly recommend it to our friends.

  We stayed three nights at room 1601 in Mercure Central Apartments and we found our stay very pleasant. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful from the moment we stepped into the hotel till they day we checked out. Through out our stay they helped us with recommendations for restaurants and such, and we enjoyed their recommendations. It has many amenities like a fridge, microwave, kitchenwares, iron, etc. The bathr - The location was ideal for our purposes. The bed was very comfortable. The front desk staff were excellent. We had previously stayed at another Grand Mecure and was encouraged to book because of this. Also our daughter is getting married at the Grand Mecure Monaco (Nelson) in Sept and we wanted to support Accor because of the service we are receiving from Clare and staff at Nelson.

  We absolutely loved our stay at The Museum Hotel and didn't want to leave. I read so many varying reviews on the hotel before making the booking and after staying here can confidently say that it was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. I don't know what other people can complain about. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Great for - I thought the place was fabulous! My 11 year old and 17 year old were very happy and comfortable too! The location is excellent and we made use of the cafe and proximity to the museum and courtney place buses and eateries! Would definitely stay here again and even my husband enjoyed viewing all the various art works. 9.5/10

  Loved the cottage all facilities were good, disappointed there was no milk for coffee after a long trip, otherwise great inside. - Unlike a hotel room it felt very homely. Great having it's own car park and so close to town and restaurants.

  This small apartment in downtown Wellington was a real prize. Very close (easy walking distance) to all the tourist attractions and only a few blocks from major shopping; also on the bus line for Weta Cave. Great to be able to cook instead of eating out all the time; a New World Metro (full store) is just down the street; dishwasher was an adde... wat mensen zeggen » d plus. Not serviced for short stays which was perfect for our trip. If this particular location is not available, the parent company has 3 others c - I was fortunate to get a room at the back of the hotel, which was incredibly quiet and peaceful. The room was a decent size (I was able to workout in the lounge area) and overall I liked the fact I could go about 100m down the road to the New World supermarket and cook a meal in my room. The kitchenette was well setup and would be ideal for people on a budget who wanted to save money by having the option to create your own meals.

  Was amazed when I first walked in the room, it turned out to be a home away from away. Everything you could possibly need including washing machine and dryer! - I liked that it was right in town but not noisy in the unit. Very convenient. The staff at the nearby Astelia Apartments were very helpful.
