  This is the first time I am writing a review but Nikos and Vagelitsa were so welcoming and accommodating that I felt a need to share my wonderful experience. Excellent homely food, peace and tranquility, picturesque location were factors that made this trip memorable. I will be soon returning to Scala!

  Stayed at the beautiful Medusa Resort in July. I can't recommend this place highly enough - It's biggest asset, apart from the incredible location, is the staff. Nothing was too much trouble and they did everything to make our stay wonderful! The breakfasts were lovely, with enough choice to cater for anyone. Medusa Resort l - We stayed at the Medusa Resort one week in September and we really enjoyed our stay. When we arrived we got an room upgrade and had a nice room with a big balcony! The hotel is located directly on the beach (I think this is the only hotel in Plaka which is directly on the beach without the sand round between hotel and beach).   Friendly staff- met us and took us back to the ferry port. The room was spacious and had a good balcony. Efficient refrigerator and shower. Very peaceful, quiet location- close to the best beaches in Naxos. A swimming pool and a small supermarket on the site and also a restaurant. Staff was really friendly and helpful. The apartment was cleaned everyday. The beds were really confortable. Breakfast was good but was the same things each day, no variety. The place is 5 minutes walking to the beach. Fantastic place!!

  The views are superb and the welcome is exceptional. For us it is simply the best. I could go on praising the beach, the local tavernas, the towns and the island in general but better to let people find out for themselves.

  The location of the hotel is about 1,5 km behind the the main beach area with all the beach coffee houses, bars and beach supermarkets. It is about 100 m from the beach. It has several rooms. Looks like 4 of them (2 lower and 2 upper floor) with sea view. We had one of the lower floor with our own entry. The breakfast (in case you order) was serve... what people say » d to our terrace. The owner (Dimitry) was very nice and cooks very nice specific food for diner (best you ask during - The owner Demitri is hospitable and generous.The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. The beach is only 30 metres away and is a white sandy, clean dream with clear deep blue water lapping onto the shore. The hotel has its own sunbeds for guests to use which was most appreciated. You need a taxi to get there but it is worth the 20 euros as it is far away from the masses and incredibly peaceful for somewhere so beautiful.
