The hotel was within easy walking distance of Syntagma Square making it very close to city shopping, the old markets, the Acropolis, etc and the bus shuttle to and from the airport which was a bargain at E3.20 per person. - The people on the front desk were extremely helpful, they had good tips about getting around the city and good recommendations

The girl from the reception even made a phonecall for us to see where we could pickup our boat tickets. We had to leave very early but we could still get some breakfast. Everything was excellent. The balconies put you as close as you can get to the view. George could not have been more helpful. He went out of his way to show us around town and make sure we had evetything we needed. He even escorted us to out tour and made sure our boat would wait for us! The fresh white walls of the bedrooms in Hotel Thireas mirror the crisp white structures of Santorini. Clean, beautiful and welcoming.

After the initial hitch of being told there was no room available (one was found when we said this wasn't acceptable) we were delighted with the hotel. Only a few mins walk to the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum. Rooms on the front of the hotel have Acropolis view. About 10 mins walk to the old-town area of Plaka. Nice swimming pool. Lovely modern decor throughout and great breakfast. Lovely.

The owner and his wife where very friendly, I felt like home. The room was clean and remodeled with a fridge, tv, air coditionair and wifii. The location was excelent in the town and across the beach. The first night we arrived he gave us the keys and told us we are like a family feel at home.
I recomend this Villa to families, couples or a small group of friends.

Very comfortable, pleasant, and memorable stay would highly recommend this hidden gem in the city of Athens. - We had a room with a balcony to the street but there was a double-door so the noise really stayed outside. As it was quite hot we enjoyed the air-coditioner. Bathroom, bed, sofa, everything was perfect. The breakfast next morning was a next highlight. To the Plaka it´s only a 5 minute walk, up to the acropolis about 15-20 min. We can only recommend this hotel to everyone!
