  I highly recommend this hotel for any kind of stay in Athens. The staff is very friendly. The value for money is splendid. The location is quite reasonable: the hotel is in a safe neighborhood, and the metro station is nearby (about ten minutes walk). Close to the Megaro Metro station and us Embassy for landmarks and easy travel to and from the airport. Only five Euro taxi to the Acropolis area. Good burger and rib joint right on the other side of the street when you want something easy and simple.

  We loved our stay at this hotel. Very friendly staff, great service, personal approach. We felt at home there. The room had a retro style to it which reminded me my childhood home. I loved it. Every day we would - The staff at Acropolis were fantastic...very helpful and friendly. The location in the Plaka was convenient. We were able to walk most places and did not have to use the metro much at all. From our room the wifi was weak, but we could use a neighboring hotel's wifi and it was a good signal. We didn't eat the breakfast so I'm not sure how it was. The fridge in the room was not already turned on, so we had to turn it on. It was helpful to have an aditional mirror outside the bathroom for getting

  This was our second stay in this hotel - the first one had been 15 years ago and we immediately loved both the hotel and its neighbourhood. When we decided to visit Athens again this year, there was not a doubt for a single moment that we would stay at the Exarchion Hotel again. The hotel has been renovated in the meantime, but its essence remained unchanged – the cosy, relaxed atmosphere which makes you feel very welcome - Very friendly staff. The owner of the hotel gave me a map and told which places worth visiting. Also he provided a lot of helpful information about the city. The rooms are relatively small but cozy. They were cleaned once a day. The towels were also changed on a daily basis. I was very pleased to find 2 teeth brushes and tooth paste in a bathroom. Air Condition system worked properly. Breakfast was good and substantial. Location is very convenient. It takes 20 min from the hotel to Acropolis
