The location couldn't be better. The view of the Acropolis from the rooms located between the 7th and 9th floor is sublime. Breakfast is excellent, but without those rich cholesterol things you are used to in non-continental breakfasts. Very friendly staff and accommodating in every way. Lot of help withlocal knowledge.Very convenient location and good hotel. The view of the Acropolis was great!.

Hotel Astor has no environmental programme, or at least nothing such was visible. Service in the breakfast room was quite slow (cleaning the tables, filling up the cheese trays etc.).it's bathroom size and cleanliness. The bed was not particularly suited to my tastes. Room was quite sparse - very small, old style tv. Now particularly well lit, but I had a room in the back section of the hotel with no balcony. Not suited for a businessman who needs full amenities.the hotel was ok, lack of presentation for a 4 star hotel. Washroom is latest decorated but the bedroom likes old, dirty. We arrived before the midnight, couldn't buy the internet card because it should be purchased from the bar i/o the front desk! On the next date, we still couldn't catch the wireless net in the hotel area even we paid for the internet card "e-card plus".poor internet service, staff at the restaurant. Really poor quality breakfast; very noisy room despite request for quiet room, though receptionist did apologise. breakfast was poor,cold with no variety and no service at all.
