The fact that it is a Design Hotel, very modern, very clean (great idea the glass bathroom inside the room!). I like the decision to mix the lobby bar with the reception services, as it brings more atmosphere and is welcoming even if you are coming in early hours. Also you may have a coffee while you are checking out. Being bartenders and receptionist the same time, bring a friendly and different approach than standard hotel reception.

We decided to opt for one of the larger themed rooms on the 7th and 8th floors and it was well worth the extra. Each room was themed around a circus character and our room featured the Ringmaster. It had a hand painted scene with this person the whole length of the wall behind the bed. Together with the quirky furniture which included some of his equipment too, not to forget the full length picture windows looking over the Museum District, the room couldn't be bettered!!

Everything was to my liking, even the transparent shower, which I know some people find a bit odd but you are forewarned if you do your research. The hotel was well located. It was easy to walk to the main attractions or to access the underground.
The coffee machine in the deluxe room was wonderful anf worth spending that little bit extra.
My flight only departed at 7:45pm and I was happy to be able to use their wellness facilities to shower and freshen-up and get into a clean set of clothing before boarding an intercontinental flight!
