Firstly excellent location - Walk able distance to all key visitor sites in Vienna Hotel itself is different starting from reception area to rooms. A good new and different feel to the place. Room was great with a vivid art work on the bedside wall of a circus :) something different than normal. all reviews » We decided to opt for one of the larger themed rooms on the 7th and 8th floors and it was well worth the extra. Each room was themed around a circus character and our room featured the Ringmaster. It had a hand painted scene with this person the whole length of the wall behind the bed. Together with the quirky furniture which included some of his equipment too, not to forget the full length picture windows looking over the Museum District, the room couldn't be bettered!!. Room decorated with fine taste, not very big but cozy, with nice view of Hofburg. Soundproof: even if the windows were big and a busy intersection (cars, trams etc.) is right in front of the hotel, you don't hear a noise; ditto for the neighbors. Great location, very close to Innere Stadt, Mariahilfestrasse, subway station etc. Restaurant at ground level which serves antipasti (cold appetizers) late in the evening, so a good back-up solution if you're hungry. This is perfect exemple of design hotel with real concept. Stuff is friendly, helpful, rooms clean, bathroom has floor heating which is very cosy. What a fabulous hotel! A bit quirky but very fun with vibrantly decorated rooms and lobby. The beds were SUPER comfy, reliable WiFi throughout (and free), terrific bathrooms with great toiletries. There were computers in the lobby with free printing available, the staff were amazing, the location a short stroll from the main attractions and metro stations. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay. I loved that the staff was really helpful and advised a lot about where to go and which restaurants to visit. They were always smiling. Also I loved the humour that was put in everything, I loved the small details that made me smile evryday. Its one of the best hotels I stayed. Hotel is 10 minute walk from Vienna city center and 3 minutes from subway station, it is lovely decorated, breakfast was amazing and the staff (especially the young guy with green hair at the reception) was amazing. Room was very comfy, warm (which is crucial during cold winter) and the bathroom is wonderful. We loved our stay and will definitely come again. The staff is amazing, except for one incident upon check out, when there's was a mistake regarding whether we paid for breakfast or not. Good location, you can walk to site seeing locations on foot & also to the shopping area. Also, 5 mnts away you can find an underground station. You should try their breakfast, it's beyond amazing!. The staff at this hotel are young, hip, helpful and very accommodating. I lost my Visa card while traveling. The front desk staff immediately aided me in contacting Visa & was able to get me a new card delivered to the hotel in 2 days. They also helped me with all my inquiries to get around Vienna. Has a night club feel to it in the night especially the reception area. Room has books and magazine which have very explicit photographs and articles. So if you are traveling with kids first thing is to make them disappear. Nothing. A bit pricey. Standard rooms are bit small. Breakfast too pricey - we went to a local bakery cafe and a great breakfast at 1/4 the cost. The room was a bit dusty. Lack of fresh air in the room was a problem as no windows could be opened. The air condition was noisy but worked great. My room was really small although it was for 2 people max roomtype. There was no place to put the luggage really. Nothing! We definitely recommend this hotel!!!. There is nothing that we did not like. Small room and no wardrobe. The cost varies from the type of view from the window. Some rooms are quite small (we stayed twice at the hotel), while the bathroom is quite big in comparison. The breakfast buffet is a bit expensive, but very good. The choice of toiletries was poor: shower gel, soap and shampoo. That was it. No cotton pads, no cotton buds (q-tips), no conditioner. Oh, and no slippers. Despite that, everything else was really nice. A pool would have been nice considering the heat during my stay, however no complaints about existing facilities. Would definitely stay there again!. The room was quite small, reducing value for money. At check in, the staff had no local maps available which was frustrating, considering this should be standard practice at any city hotel. The breakfast was good but they need to provide more variety on lunch/dinner menu as it is very restricted and really doesn't capture the Italian/New York theme they aspire to. otherwise though really good. Signal wifi is very low in the bedrooms. I had to use the internet in the hall. The air conditioning does not function as long as the outside temperature is under 23C - regardless of the INSIDE temperature. The roof-top lounge is too crowded and the restaurant is infested with smokers. The restaurant and bar are busy until after midnight (which is good if you like a vivid night life and not so good if you like a deep rest). Noise from the close-by streets (may be hard to avoid in a city centre). Breakfast room was overcrowded, we had to sit at a table that was not cleaned yet, in order to get any. Breakfast is fantastic, could be a touch cheaper though (17 euros). a small size of a standard room. No dresser or drawers of any kind. - WiFi signal rather poor. we stayed on the 3rd floor maybe on other floors it's better (worked fine at the lobby). I liked absolutely everything about my stay there. Even if you book a bike you may not get one. They seem to run out of the bikes early in the morning, and have only a few of them. So either do not count on the bikes, or get up very early. Restaurant a little over priced, but food (especially pizzas) lovely. The stereo system for iPod didn't work properly. &Quot;We are all mad here" - maybe this is the reason :-) Staff is very helpful and friendly, but sometimes a little bit forgetful: it took me three times to remind of my request for an iron.
