We decided to opt for one of the larger themed rooms on the 7th and 8th floors and it was well worth the extra. Each room was themed around a circus character and our room featured the Ringmaster. It had a hand painted scene with this person the whole length of the wall behind the bed. Together with the quirky furniture which included some of his equipment too, not to forget the full length picture windows looking over the Museum District, the room couldn't be bettered!!

The hotel is lovely and decorated with many interesting pieces of art. The breakfast was excellant with very high quality food. The location is very good and within walking distance to the museums, the Hofburg and old town section. Two U-Bahn stops are also close by. The staff was helpful and very pleasant. I would definately stay there again. -

We were close to the purple line underground and we were to a walking distance of Stephanplatz. Breakfast was excellent. Lots of fruits, good variety of cold meat, cheese, vegetables, jams. Excellent coffees. They would prepare eggs the way you wanted them. They had Viennese pastries, yogurt, juices etc..... The personnel were always smiling and helping you with any request. We asked that they booked restaurants on 2 occasions and we really enjoyed their pick. We would definetely return

This is a lovely old-fashioned hotel, very well-decorated and furnished. It looks as if it has been recently refurbished (to a high standard). It is quite near the Westbahnhof railway station and within walking distance of the city centre. They gave me a bigger room than I had booked, at no extra price. Everything was excellent. If you want to have both museums and good shopping nearby hotel Beethoven is proper choice. The Museum of Art History is of the world importance, Hofburg, Stephandom and Museum Quarter- 10 min., Karskirhe (concerts, in august the theaters on holidays), Secession, Akademy of fine Arts Gallery - 3 min. Theater an der Wiene and Opera are quite near. The Hotel offers excellent breakfasts, koffee and tea in the room (our was 503) - free, concerts on Sundays with shampaigne
