This is a lovely old-fashioned hotel, very well-decorated and furnished. It looks as if it has been recently refurbished (to a high standard). It is quite near the Westbahnhof railway station and within walking distance of the city centre. They gave me a bigger room than I had booked, at no extra price. Staff were very friendly and helpful.. Everything was perfect. The room, the facilities, the personnel and a great breakfast. The value of the hotel is way up the money we paid. And also the location is in the market and just 10 minutes on foot to the center.

We booked superior room and was very surprised at the designe of the hotel management to cut down their expenses by keeping of old and worn furniture and TV. It seems to me its also should be renovated.The hotel is in renovation, if you get a room in that side of the hotel, it might be noisy. The fact that it has a beautiful swimming pool but it belongs to the Spa and kids under 16 are not allowed to use it.Single bed was too small and narrow and no place to put soap in the shower. Needs a soap dish. I still can not think about any bad point right now.the room was very small. Breakfast was not included in the price. A little hot in hotel room and couldn't control heat. Space. If the hotel is doing construction it would be helpful to know that there would not be internet access available.
