I thought I had booked a room at the "other" Day's Inn on Castillo st and when I looked closer at my reservation it was a State st. The front desk (Sabrina) said they heard this before and I called the "other" Inn and they were not accomodating at all. The location was superb, right across from the beach, Stearns Wharf and yacht club. Lots of excellent restaurants within walking distance as was Old Town. Close to many wine bars. Offers nice buffet breakfast. Staff exceptional, especially Mynor at the front desk.
Will definitely recommend this hotel to friends. -

Frank is the best concierge I've met. Super friendly and helpful. I was frazzled after my long leg of my journey and instantly it went away when checking in. Frank was funny and super informative.

The facilities include both a pool deep enough to tread at one end and an on-site coin laundry.
The Continental breakfast is terrific, featuring fresh fruit, Kona coffee and a wide choice of baked goods as well as other options.
There is a tub with the shower, surprisingly rare and welcome.

We stayed for 2 separate 3/4 night periods - first on our own room (102) and then in a different room (San Miguel suite) while our son was in 214 for that later stay.

In a quiet area compared with the State St hotel we have stayed at before. -
Fabulous place, and a great price. It is comfortable, clean, on a quiet street 2-3 blocks from the beach. I appreciate that it doesn't have lots of bells and whistles (that I don't like paying for), but all the necessities to be comfortable and relax. Nice breakfast included (yogurt/granola, or an egg dish, which changes daily; with fruit, juice, coffee/tea). Staff are very responsive and friendly.

Nice location, right by the harbor and Stearns Wharf. We had a lovely view from the balcony overlooking the harbor. The wine and cheese in the afternoon was a nice touch and the heated pool and jacuzzi were good. The breakfast was also good and they kept making sure they refilled any of the items. Beds were comfy.
