This is our second stay and we very much like the atmosphere. I know this is probably another business but the breakfast price at Seattle Coffee was a bit much for what we got. I guess we were used to complementary breakfast at many motels that were in the same price range. At one Best Western Motel on this same trip we receive a complementary voucher for a hot breakfast at an attached restaurant. Other than that we were very satisfied.

the staff from the very beginning were outstanding. they treated me as A friend not A guest. everyone whent out of their way to accommodate my every need. bedding was so modern and comfortable. the rooftop restaurant and bar are fabulous. please go. The big comfy bed and towels...nice touch with the bathrobe! Excellent location. Complimentary shuttle to and from the airport. Front desk employees were very friendly. I liked the well-maintained historic look and feel with the modern comforts of the room and services. the food was good. Location. The abience. The service was great. The Vertex was marvelous. Beds comfortable. Staff very helpful, and nice. Also, the staff was very knowledgeable of the areas we were there to visit. Staff was very accomodating. Food and drinks in the Vertex were supurb. The staff was kind and gave me a break with the pet fees. bathroom are A little small but very clean. parking situation could be improved. Walls are TOO thin. I get the 'theme' of the hotel but something things could use updating.. worn lobby floors, dated bathroom, bar/restaurant with poor service, Seattle's Best oven was not working so no reasonably priced hot breakfast anywhere and one of the employees working the morning shift would have rather been someplace other than there - visibly impatient with a foreign couple trying to buy yogurt. I was a bit worried about the floor of and under the tub. Very squishy. paying for parking. My booking said breakfast was included. Hotel staff said NO. Free parking, but up on top (5th) level without an elevator. The rooms were quite small. There was no entertainment. No music in the vertex, that you could hear...no live music except across the street...not very good. No entertainment at all on a week-end. Also, the Seattle coffee shop should be a full "real" coffee shop with a much better menu. The pub was noisy..no live music again. I know it was a college town, but need entertainment for all ages...if only a piano bar, jazz, C&W...something to relax to and possibly "get down" to!. The air conditioning was less than desirable...it did not cool the room well... and on my confirmation it said there was breakfast provided....which there was none. The room was horribly small. Definitely not worth the money. We realize that the hotel has been revitalized, probably several times, but it has not been done well. Our king sized bed should never have been in our room. It was much too small for such a large bed. Our room was not clean by any means and hadn't been deep cleaned for a long time.
