Great staff!!!! Great location! Liked the larger icebox in the room! Provided more than enough towels! I stayed for two nights, and housekeeping did a good job! It was an older facility with some minor issues, but I still feel that I got what I paid for, especially during peak travel season to a well-traveled destination! I hope to return to Rapid for the same event next year during the summer, and I hope this facility is available!. all reviews
I like because is closer down tow they got clean rooms they do service every day nice place to stay I recommend imperial hotel.

The room was surprisingly nice, given some other factors. Room was quiet, given it was bike week at Sturgis and the city was crammed with harleys.

The exterior of the hotel was very offputting. The lower hallways and connected areas showed their age. Considering it was bike week, the price was reasonable and the room was better than expected given the exterior.
Very noisy at night. Some band was playing in the same building and was very loud. It seem to be every night.
No refrige in room, no microwave in room, they said they had wi-fi but half way down the hall to our room the signal went away, it was not strong enough to reach our room.
The beds were set on home built box and not a bed frame.

Thot it was overpriced, they were getting the same as the other hotels and didn't offer coffe or breakfast. no refreshments or ice machines.
You got what you paid for. Facilities were not quit working properly like shower, TV, etc. but they were not unexpected for the price and one star rank.
Had to go downstairs to access internet, no method to transport luggage
to room, except a kitchen cart, two keys to get into room area, old
type, elevator did not work in lobby, no cream or sugar with
coffee...and..it was old and poor quality. A lot of people frying food,
more like a very old extended stay, or location for locals who live in
the hotel, floors all creaked badly everywhere, air conditioner was
inadiquate, refrig did not cool well. Not a good stsy for the $$$$.

It was not in a safe area. We also were not aware of a bar/dance club connected to the building. Also half of the hotel seemed to be a low rent extended stay hotel/apartment. It did not feel safe.
I chose this place because it was the cheapest (but still relatively expensive for what you actually get). It was totally sketchy and outdated, dirty and I didn't even feel safe. Never again.
