This is how a hotel should be, with rooms that are spacious, with plenty of bright lights and clean On top of that this hotel is in the centre of town which has nice shops and restaurants. The room had a large desk with brilliant light above, a large flat-screen TV, free coffee and tea, large beds with good lights and a very clean bathroom. Free Wifi internet worked well with sufficient speed for streaming media. Expect some noise (horn) from trains passing in the middle of the night on the tra.

I am usually very picky about where we stay and I researched all the reviews. Adoba had excellent reviews and I was not disappointed. It felt like a luxury hotel for a fraction of the price. The hotel was very clean; our room was modern and very clean; the bed was so comfortable and the staff were very friendly. The complimentary breakfast was unbelievable- where we were seated in a very nice restauarant, served and could order our omlet made to our liking. I was very impressed and would defini. Great value for money (in low season), spatious and comfortable room, nicely decorated - a far cry from the horrendous pre-fabricated chain hotels. The restaurant, slightly upmarket but not stuffy, is probably one of the best dining options in town. The location is good - close enough to the historic district but also convenient for Mt Rushmore. The National Parks were closed by the government on the day we arrived Rapid City. Very disappointed driving all the way from Yellowstone NP but the stay at Adoba Hotel was comfortable. The room was big and clean and the rate was good. Great location to Mt Rushmore & Black Hills. The room was very nice & modern. We had our 2 small dogs with us & the staff was very accommodating m& friendly to them. The location was prime. The restaurant was excellent as well as very knowledgeable & efficient wait staff. Good dog walking area. Excellent free shuttle service to and from airport. We just phoned the hotel and they came and picked us up when we arrived. Good location for visiting Mt Rushmore and Black Hills Staff helpful. We stayed in newly redone adjoining rooms. We really liked the fact that everthing was fresh and new. Loved the decor, location, value, and the bedding. The breakfast was also wonderful. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was gorgeous and spacious. Rooms still need a bit of upgrading. Outdoor noise. The breakfast needed to be upgraded. The food was cold and the same items everyday. The tables were not clean and the napkins were used and dirty. The wait staff must not have checked them. We turned the napkins over and you could see that they had been used. Bathroom doors lacked privacy Room Service trays were not picked up for over 48 hours, rotting meat sat in the hallways breakfast food was not fresh. We were on the eighth floor and could hear street noise, but it is in a city, so it is to be expected. Air conditioning was load. There is some noise from a local bar and from trains nearby. The Bar was kinda over priced. No lock on bathroom door. Th restaurant needs an update in staff, menu and decor. The front desk girl when we checked in was super duper rude!. Restaurant prices high. Food only ok. Breakfast was VERY slow. Not enough staff. Had to wait for food to be replenished and once we were sat at our table the waiter never came around with coffee. I served myself. Could still smell that someone had smoked in the room at one time. every very good. Construction work after 9 pm. no pool. Loud noise on street. Need bureaus on the 7th floor. *Eclectic decor - no symmetry in decor *Vent on outside wall let in cold air *Poor door fit - light came in through the sides and bottom *Desk chair did not raise up to desk - had to sit on the ottoman with the chair cushion to lift up enough to type comfortably. *Noise level. noisy airconditioner/impacted sleep. restaurant pricey. Entirely too costly for the amenities. Would not stay again because of that. It looked like they spent the least amount of money to make the hotel look upscale. The air conditioning in the room was really, really loud and obtrusive. we've staid 2 nights and the room was not vaccuum cleaned after first night.
