The good: The rooms are outstanding in this hotel and a... what people say » re of very decent size, modern, with an extremely comfortable bed and pillows and a spacious bathroom with an outstanding shower and amenities (aromat - the room is so big & the bathroom is an experience for itself, there's a touchscreen dashboard which u can use it to control lights, a/c remotely. - the staff go backward to serve the guests. - the pool area is magnificent. - the gym is equipped with the latest equipment & so big too. -the restaurant where u can have the breakfast is just amazing and never seen bigger that this. - it's just a perfect hotel i'll go there every time i visit Dubai

  I've traveled to Dubai on many occasions but have always stayed with family. This was the first time we chose to stay at a hotel, and I must say choosing Ocean View Hotel was a good decision. I read many reviews (mostly positive) before booking the Superior double room with sea-view (breakfast included), and I think all our expectations were perfe... what people say » ctly met. The facilities in the hotel were just right for what we were looking for on our holiday. I've stayed at 5 star hotels that don't deserve to - I had a superb stay, from the check in at 1030 am, they already have my booking slip and have my room ready, while we are checking in they offered us towels to freshen up, juices and cookies. When we get inside the room, everything is what I have expected, the ocean view is serene. We had a room service and they delivered our food on the rack to keep it hot. My husband likes the gym so much. They offer you good towels in the gym and in the pool (no need to be carrying your towel from the room).

  We only stayed for two nights but in that time the staff made an impression that will last with us. From the first interaction until the last the staff were friendly, polite, helpful and accommodating. We didn't use the restaurant however we did use room service and the food was great. What a great hotel and we'd definitely stay there for our next t - The hotel staff were merry and friendly and I did like that the receptionist got me checked in in my room even though I was early. The room service was great. They were fast to serving me. The massage treatment I got was great. Also, I had another appointment in the spa and then I cancelled my reservation, generously they didn't charge me a penny. Christina at the front desk was a gem as I needed to arrange a few things for the trip, she explained all the options, and was very accommodating of the requests and requirements I had. The room service staff were top notch, always friendly an... what people say » d warm and never too busy to help us with anything we needed (extra towels, extra condiments for in room food etc) The hotel itself is located excelle - Both me and the girlfriend have stayed at the hotel for a period of 5 days and it was overall an excellent experience. Even though there was a major construction happening in the area around the hotel which also ruined the beach view, we were still happy with the pool available in the hotel and the other facilities like the bar and restaurants. The breakfast was impressive with lots of selection. And the staff was very helpful. Room was big, comfortable and very clean.

Not on the grand scale of some of the large hotels in Dubai, but definately excellent value for money.   This is the perfect oasis away from the high rise buildings of Dubai. The hotel is calm, quiet and well laid out. Staff are efficient and extremely attentive without being in the way. Close to the airport but no discernable aircraft noise and you can reach most Dubai attractions within 30 mins - taxis are plentiful and pretty cheap. I loved being close to City Centre and a metro (I often just did the 15 minute walk, as I liked going through the golf course area with birds). Again, extremely gracious staff - high marks to my room service deliverer, the ladies at the front desk, my server at Traiteur, and the gentlemen out front. High marks, all!

The staff went out of their way to give me a room with a nice view after I requested it...put me on the 58th floor! The hotel is huge but never felt crowded. Right in front of it is the metro station. On S. Zayed Road full of life. A pharmacy, clinic, 24hrs market and many restaurants are just steps away. Rooms are of a good size. The bed was big enough for the three of us and very comfortable. The rainfall shower was great and the tub is very nice size.
