The staff was very friendly and courteous whenever you met them regardless of the time of day (or night!) Christina at the front desk was a gem as I needed to arrange a few things for the trip, she explained all the options, and was very accommodating of the requests and requirements I had. The room service staff were top notch, always friendly and warm and never too busy to help us with anything we needed (extra towels, extra condiments for in room food etc) The hotel itself is located excelle.

Both me and the girlfriend have stayed at the hotel for a period of 5 days and it was overall an excellent experience. Even though there was a major construction happening in the area around the hotel which also ruined the beach view, we were still happy with the pool available in the hotel and the other facilities like the bar and restaurants. The breakfast was impressive with lots of selection. And the staff was very helpful. Room was big, comfortable and very clean. The entrance, the they will treat you like a prince you don’t have to do anything you will find about ten guys to help you from opening the car door to the hotel door carrying your things. Very nice pool and sitting area for family and having snacks or drinks. The reception staff are excellent. Very nice loopy with Arabic coffee and dates. Very nice concierge. I would really recommend this hotel. It is direct to the walk. Liked everything. The staff, facilities, pool, everything was great. The room was clean and comfortable, great view if you can look past the construction work but we knew that was going on and we just looked past it. I stayed here on the first day of Ramadan, so I managed to get an extremely cheap rate. The standard room with sea view is extremely spacious, with a sofa and balcony. You have a choice of different pillows to choose from at no extra charge. The hotel is only five minutes walk from the beach. The beach was extremely quiet when I went. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. The only major thing was the big construction in the area that ruined the beach experience and you could hear the sound of it all day. But that was not the hotel's fault. And the rooms were not sound proof which may become an issue for couples. i lived in room 2205 there were a very bad smell from the carpet. On thursday and friday its so crowded so it took so long to reach the hotel. The construction outside the hotel in front of the beach, but this isn't the hotels fault - and it doesn't detract from the stay. Traffic n road movement in front and back of the hotel is sooo slow if u have a car soo u will wait for so long just to enter and exit the JBR. - Check-in (and actually also check-out) was very slow since we were helped by new reception desk trainees - Views on JBR beach are great, but a pity that there are so many construction sites right in front of the hotel (must admit though that there was no noice or other disturbancies). the early check out (12p.m) at least make it to 2 p.m or 4 p.m if there is many available rooms , there was delay on my flight so I arrived at 7 p.m I suppose to arrived at 4p.m I asked for late check out the employee refused at the begging ,, I think you should have exception for my case because my delay check in which was out of my control. You had to pay for internet in the room There are only 3 lifts servicing the whole hotel so they were always busy and there was no clear way of taking the stairs even 1 floor. Construction at the front of the hotel and traffic. The construction site! They are building a shopping mall on the beach, although we didn't hear anything at night it was not a nice site in the day! It did not ruin my holiday though just didn't realise the enormous work going on. Construction started between the hotel and the ocean. When this is complete, the sea view might disappear altogether. Wifi not free, some noises from other room .. the beach was a bit of a walk. The only disturbed me was 25 floors with that much number of rooms operating with 3 lefts only that made it difficult to catch the left easily. There bug construction site just between the hotel and sea side. noise coming from it 24/7. Also the tower cranes are blocking the sea view. Also, till after mid night noise coming form the open air discos in the adjacent hotels. I could not enjoy my stay cus of the noise coming form out side the hotel. The construction work happening all along the beach. Check in and check out took around 30 minutes each !! Elevators are always busy and you wait on average few minutes. Entrance and existing jbr wastes around five/ ten minutes in rush hours. Daily housekeeping were not as observant as we would have liked. It was unfortunate that the construction opposite the hotel prevented us from enjoying the pool and outdoor area - very noisy!. The price of the mini bar items and the laundry service were over priced. The noise from the construction site opposite the hotel. Rotana still charges for its wifi service. The distance from the Hotel to the beach because of construction site opposite hotel. nothing to say. Building work opposite hotel Roadworks around location. There was significant construction going on immediately beside the hotel which went on all day and night. The big traffic jam 24/7 in JBR area. Expensive wifi and there is construction going on right opposite the hotel (by the beach) and not a pleasant view from the balcony. Apart from that, all was very good. food, over rated for just a room. Some construction works are undergoing in front of the hotel on the beach side. WiFi is not included, have to pay an extra 95 dirhams per 24 hours, very odd for a 5 star hotel especially when all other hotels around the area offer WiFi free. Construction happening all along the shore front 24/7, too much construction going on around the marina area, this area would be good in around 5 years. need to have some free wifi in the hotel, the noise from the bar downstairs cpuld be heard in my room at 11pm. Check-in takes long time unlike checkout that is early at 12:00! In addition to taking two reservations with a connecting doors in two different floors without mentioning this in the reservations and this is impolite behavior indeed!! So sad for me and my friend who came to celebrate his wedding day date. I have requested for an arrangement for flowers and chocolates but when I reached there , didn't find that. Paid internet. Building work going on... But this is the marina and you'll be hard pushed to stay somewhere at this price that doesn't. Bathroom runs out of warm water sometimes. It was a bit far from some malls, and it was also a bit far from the Jumeirah Beach Residence coffee shops and restaurants. small jacuzzi.should be another jacuzzi for female all day .small pool.not warm welcoming for our 31 wedding anniversary just small bunch of fruit for one day .no flowers or any other complementary dinner or breakfast .it is not A welcome for regular customer. Faraway from city like to have pay attention for taxi fees like dubai mall faraway 20 min 60 Dhs, from airport 100 dhs. No attached hose with cabinet, small bathroom, everything payable, no night club in area. Some of front desk staff were way below trainee level. Arrived at the hotel and the coudn't find letsbookhotel.com reservation. On check out they did not honour the rate quoted by letsbookhotel.com after 45 minutes dicussion with different staff they agreed on the rate, be ware of the room service staff, the are likley to charge you items from minibar even if you don't touch it. the hotel breakfast. No free wifi in rooms... Comon guys this is the 21st century and this should be a free amenity like it is in many developed countries.. No free wifi !. It will be better with breackfast specially @ this time ... u can see a lot of promotions in hotels with breakfast !!. Lot of noise from the construction site on the beach opposite the hotel.
