Bowness on Windermere is delightful and has a good selection of restaurants a twenty minute walk from Storrs Gatehouse. Need to take a torch - We loved this b & B. This was the one of the best beds we slept in while on our trip around England. Vince is a great host with good recommendations on what to do and how to get there. Shirley is an awesome cook and these were the best breakfasts we had in England. The location is very good - a 15 minute walk from the town so that we could enjoy wine with dinner and not worry about driving and there are lots of good restaurants in Bowness-on-Windemere - just ask Vince!
