  Clean and tidy and they had anticipated our needs by providing extra items such as tissues, cotton wool, shower gel, milk tea and coffee, and hair dryer. The spa and bbq was a lovely touch too and it is these things that help create a relaxing break!   We found the Ash Grove cabin we had to be the best accommodation we had on our visit to the Northern part of the North Island. Everything was absolutely perfect, which we failed to get at many other of the locations we visited. Our cottage was right next door to hosts house yet it was private, clean and had every thing we needed to make our stay comfortable. Great place for our break away weekend. Easy access to a variety of attractions, Paihia,Kerikeri etc.

  The owners were very helpful in all respects, when I advised them that we would not be arriving till early Saturday morning this was not a problem as we were coming from the King Country. They were very helpful with any question that we had & very easy to approach.   Wonderful greeting by owners upon arrival,very clean and tidy, just a nice atmosphere.well done and wouldnt hesitate to recommend it to others and stay there again if up in Paihia. - have stayed there a few times and the staff are lovely and the rooms are always so clean and love what you do with the towels

  Comfortable room with plenty of facilities/space. Staff were friendly, helpful and gave us lots of information. Aloha is in a good situation for the bay of islands, Russell, Waitangi etc. You can get a tour to 90 mile beach from Paihia, although we drove and thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Good restaurants in town - about a ten minute walk. Overall ... what people say » a very enjoyable stay. - we stayed here for the night as a gift for our wedding nite and loved the flowers that were left in our room from the lovely gardens from the staff at the motel, a lovely touch, thank you. Wine & chocolates were left for the room by my parents which the staff put into our room before our arrival, big thanks for doing that. Great facilities and a relaxing stay

  On arrival it was raining so we were sitting in the car waiting for it to pass over. They came out with umbrellas so we didn't get wet. They were very friendly and did everything they could to make our stay pleasant. I am fussy about cleanliness but the place was spotless. We had an ocean view apartment and it was fabulous. Very clean and tidy, good facilities, welcoming host. All good. Its near the treaty grounds in one direction and the shops/cafes in the other. But mostly I just love that they found my tablet charger before I even knew I had lost it, and posted it on really quickly.

  Good Location if you have a car, a bit far to walk to the town centre but was fantastic having a pool and trampoline for our son to play on and the spa was lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful, we would love to stay again but we would stay on the bottom floor as you have easy access to the pool and the car park.   The Swish Chalet is a comfortable, clean and friendly place to stay. We had a spacious room with sofa and kitchenette and a balcony (with flowers, just like a Swiss Chalet!) We stayed two nights and loved it. - The whole experience was fantastic, I was there for a few days with my work, I wanted a small motel that was clean, quiet, in a good location at a reasonable price. I feel that I got that and much more, very friendly owners who went the extra mile, under cover parking, super fast wi-fi which was spot on and I took the continental breakfast option for only $10 extra, well worth it, well done, see you next time!

  This motel is just beautiful. The present photos do not do it justice, our studio apartment was fabulous, spacious, lovely decor, large comfortable bed, excellent furnishings, refreshing colours, and immaculately clean. The staff went out of their way for us. We had to be somewhere by 11am and asked if we could park our car at the motel. They went... what people say » further than that, they allowed us to check into our studio, which they had prepared early. The motel is a 3 minute walk from the beach, waterfront a - Excellent Staff! Out of the 3 places we stayed in, the staff here were simply the best, friendly and only too willing to help out, with best places to eat and what attractions to see and offering umbrella's as they could see it was going to rain on our walk. (which it did). We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit, and it was like luxury, clean, modern and comfortable with free wifi to top it all off! Hubby now wishes I booked our whole stay here and not just the 1 night.
