  The Swish Chalet is a comfortable, clean and friendly place to stay. We had a spacious room with sofa and kitchenette and a balcony (with flowers, just like a Swiss Chalet!) It doesn't have a lake view but does have outside space and the lake is just across the road with plenty of eateries within a few minutes walk. We stayed two nights and loved it. - The whole experience was fantastic, I was there for a few days with my work, I wanted a small motel that was clean, quiet, in a good location at a reasonable price. I feel that I got that and much more, very friendly owners who went the extra mile, under cover parking, super fast wi-fi which was spot on and I took the continental breakfast option for only $10 extra, well worth it, well done, see you next time!

  We found the Ash Grove cabin we had to be the best accommodation we had on our visit to the Northern part of the North Island. Everything was absolutely perfect, which we failed to get at many other of the locations we visited.   From the outset, loved the personal attention I received. Had a call from management that they had read my special requests and provided assurance that requests would be honoured to my satisfaction - and they were! Absolutely no complaints whatsoever. Will definitely stay here again if the price is right, as it was during our stay. She, my dad & my two nieces who were visiting - The staff was really friendly, and the room was amazing. My partner and I were really keen to find somewhere with kitchen facilities so we didn't have to eat out too much and Sea Spray had a really good kitchenette and all the basic equipment you'd need. It was an easy walk to a supermarket as well as the town. Bar fridge was decent price compared to other accommodation I've stayed at. The room was really clean and very comfortable, If in Paihia again we will definitely book here again.

  The privacy, cleanliness, Scenery was lovely and central to everything. Loads of parking so we left the car there and walked around. The man at reception was very pleasent and friendly. - The proximity to the shore/shops/ferry/Waitangi museum/eateries etc. but far enough away from main traffic noise.

  We liked everything about Bay Sands - the Manager was the most helpful, informative,friendly person we came across in our whole NZ holiday... Nothing too much trouble and we ate at some amazing places thanks to his suggestions......And if this wasn't enough he even offered to allow us to leave our car at the motel whilst we went on an overnight cr... what people say » uise as it was far safer at the Motel than anywhere else. Our room had a beach view, was spotlessly clean and well fitted out with kitchenette etc - v - Staff were friendly and welcoming on arrival. Room was clean and comfortable and facilities were very good. We had a ground floor sea view, which wasn't strictly a sea view as most of the time, cars were parked directly across from the room as there was parking for the beach. The beach was literally across the street, though so it was still a good spot. Restaurants, the wharf and the centre is a 15 minute walk from the accommodation, so pretty good location.

  Good Location if you have a car, a bit far to walk to the town centre but was fantastic having a pool and trampoline for our son to play on and the spa was lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful, we would love to stay again but we would stay on the bottom floor as you have easy access to the pool and the car park.
