  Chalet Romantica was one of - if not the best B&B we stayed in during our trip to NZ. Inge was very friendly and welcoming and made us feel quite comfortable on our first night in NZ. The location offers a gorgeous view of the Bay of Islands and is walkable to good dining options. We stayed in the apartment & there was everything you needed to cater for yourselves. We would certainly stay here again if we are ever lucky enough to visit nz again.

  Well fitted out and comfortable apartments, lovely linen/towels, excellent facilities. Everything required was available. Very convenient to shops and waterfront.   The suite was spacious, clean and comfortable, with fantastic views, and the location close to the town centre was excellent. We ate one night in the restaurant and found the wait staff to be excellent. I thought the hotel was good value for money. - Good value for money and comfortable.
