The Swish Chalet is a comfortable, clean and friendly place to stay. We had a spacious room with sofa and kitchenette and a balcony (with flowers, just like a Swiss Chalet!) It doesn't have a lake view but does have outside space and the lake is just across the road with plenty of eateries within a few minutes walk. They were happy for us to use the laundry which was helpful. The owners were also helpful booking a boat trip - a must do at the bay of islands. We stayed two nights and loved it.
all reviews » The whole experience was fantastic, I was there for a few days with my work, I wanted a small motel that was clean, quiet, in a good location at a reasonable price. I feel that I got that and much more, very friendly owners who went the extra mile, under cover parking, super fast wi-fi which was spot on and I took the continental breakfast option for only $10 extra, well worth it, well done, see you next time!. We loved it at Swiss Chalet Lodge Motel. Phil catered for my Whanau of 9 adults and 4 children. He was so awesome, never had any complaints from Phil, very friendly and helpful towards us as a whanau. The motel rooms were so immaculate and warming, thank you so much Phil for our awesome weekend. I recommend Swiss Chalet Lodge Motel to everybody that is in Paihia, massive host Phil. Great location. The owners are really helpful - they gave us advice on which trips to do then booked them all for us. The room was very spacious, clean and well-equipped. We had a lovely stay and would definately recommend it. Very friendly and cooperative staff. Maureen treated us like a family coming home. They were friendly but respectful of our privacy. They guided us to make most of our travel. Good location, very friendly & helpful staff, Paihia is a great place to visit & Swiss Chalet motel makes a good base to do it from. great accommodation for us to stay in as a big family group. large layout like a home, especially with two bathrooms. Excellent facilities, nice staff, good spa. Close to ferry to Russell. The location was excellent and the owner couldn't do enough for us. the nice hot spa clean towels every day nice friendly staff. When the room had been closed up all day it was slightly musty when we returned but it was soon fresh once we opened the doors. Nothing to not like!. Their was nothing to dislike about Swiss Chalet Lodge Motel, from day one to the end of our stay, was awesome even our host Phil. Thank you once again Phil. Shower:( Internet /wi fi been advertised as free but we discovered that its only 200 mb free and buying option was too expensive so business travellers should negotiate this prior to booking with very friendly staff. The staff and hospitality will outweigh any negatives:). Could have done with a second toilet for 6 people - if possible. No downsides. The bathroom will be upgraded soon. Nothing, all good. none.
