It was a very nice unit, spacious and well laid out with luxury bathroom & excellent kitchen & dining facilities. The staff were so accommodating and welcoming. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in the future. Presentation was very good, host was warm and friendly, bed was comfortable unlike the hard beds we usually experience. The Alfresco's voucher was a nice surprise and put to good use! We will be coming back.

We loved Paihia and the location of The Shoreline Motel. We were given a very warm welcome and a well equipped modern and comfortable room. Everything was to a very high standard. The view from the hotel is beautiful - we were staying in an upstairs room The staff were very helpful to us. There was a happy easy going atmosphere. Lovely room with sea-view. Spa pool. Nice location just on the edge of town but within walking distance of shops and retaurants. Location was close to all the shops, services and tours and far enough away to be untroubled. location was good and we were fortunate to have fabulous weather, loved it. The staff were friendly and helpful. Nothing seemed to be a trouble to them. Our room was clean modern and had all we needed as well as good heating. Very clean Girl at Reception very helpful Beautiful views. Rooms very clean & comfortable. The location. very good location. The fact that we only stayed one night!. Nothing. Couldn't fault anything. Nothing. Nothing. Unfortunately it rained while we were there the motel couldn't do anything about that. Unfortunately our bed was not that comfortable, it suffered from roll together, giving us very sore backs for the rest of our holiday. Nothing. Other guests sitting outside their rooms smoking. Made to feel somewhat guilty as I hadn't called to say what time I was booking in. Book in time was between 2-8pm, I arrived approx. 6pm. Mutterings about only book in for the day and that she had had to wait all day for me...just as well I needed the room or I would have gone elsewhere. Otherwise very polite. We were in downstairs unit could hear people walking around and talking upstairs. It was advertised as free Wifi but in effect it was very limited free Wifi. Unfortunately my partner had to work and that he needed to have more access to the internet .The understanding of this was not really appreciated for a time and the situation was not very nice.Fortunately it was resolved and he was able to complete his work. Our holiday to N.Z. Was planned before this work was commissioned but knowing that WiFi was available we continued with our plans to visit from the U.K.
