It was easy access from the highway, beautifully appointed both in public spaces and in the room itself, room was large, tv was large, bath was wonderful...shower was heavenly, even see-thru top shower curtain showed forethought...both letting in light and dispelling any traces of "Psycho" phobia anyone might have, design of sink unit was at once up-to-date, attractive, and functional. They made great restaurant recommendations, and met our every need, cheerfully! Rooms are terrific, handsome decor and very comfortable beds. Loved this facility. It was modern, new and well located with easy access by car to downtown. Some other guests walked downtown to restaurants. Generally we were happy with this hotel and would choose to stay there again. We found the staff friendly and very helpful. The hotel was in a great location, very close to the city, but quiet to relax in. The rooms were quiet clean and modern and smokeless. Parking was great too. I stayed there for the night before the wedding with my children. It was raining outside and they allowed us to take all of our wedding photos in their lobby. ATM machine in lobby didn't work for my ATM card or credit cards; hotel was unable to give cash advance on credit card. The drain in the bath tub didn't function. The water in the tub was murky & green. Nothing. When I booked with letsbookhotel.com, there was no area or opportunity to apply for a caa or government discount and it couldn't be changed on my arrival. Next time I'll just call the hotel myself. We would appreciate a restaurant or at least some information on where to eat. We were only in St. John one night and the trip advisor restaurants were in one area which we couldn't find so we ended up eating at McDonald's. There was nothing. Take an odd number room the view is nice. We had an even number and the view was a brick wall. Nothing. Nothing!. Nothing. The only downside: The pillows was really uncomfortable. Limited outside parking. no food at the bar in the evening,limited service at the bar,. temperature of room,could not adjust it .it would be nice if we could have opened a window. No resturants close by. Inadequate Internet connection. The hotel could not handle the volume of users. Very disappointed. Unable to check business emails.
