  I liked the friendly greeting I recieved from the staff on arrival.Rhonda in housekeeping took special care that my room was well provided. Satish, the manager was on top of everything and even drove me into town on a particularly rainy day. The continental breakfast is more than ample and the breakfast room is very pleasant. I used the Barbecue area on the Sunday that I was ther - Right from the start we were treated so well by the Manager. He graciously came and picked us up from town since we had flown into Ganges by seaplane. We were able to walk into and back from town several times. Later he drove us to pick up our adult daughter who was joining us. He was gracious and helpful and went the extra mile twice! The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was fabulous. We also used the hot tub and enjoyed the location with the view of the ocean and the woods.

  We had a corner room with two windows and a balcony overlooking the inner harbor. The room was lovely with plenty of space and the bed was comfortable. The staff was also helpful and friendly. And the location -- harborside -- was perfect. A short walk along the water takes you into town, or you could ask the concierge for a complimentary ride.   The fantastic beach location and all the rooms face onto the beach and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The connection to the first nations community. The beds were very comfortable. Did not eat there so cannot comment on the food service - we were just out too much to be there for meals. Would like to receive any promotional rates email... what people say » s as I would like to stay again if I could afford it. - The history of the Tin-wis was very interesting - it was the site of a residential school in the past and the First Nation people have done an amazing job of turning this place into a beautiful resort area for many to enjoy! the staff was very friendly and helpful and we also enjoyed the Bistro on site. The food was excellent!

  We've never slept on as luxurious and comfy beds as those in our room at the Days Inn in Nanaimo. It was like sleeping on a cloud! (The mattress cover and duvet were down-filled!) Our room was clean and very nice, with a big-screen TV, air conditioner, coffee machine and lots of shampoo/conditioner, lotion and soaps in the bathroom. The Wi Fi work... what people say » ed well. In the morning, we were treated to a complimentary continental breakfast. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. We'll definitely s - Our room was clean and comfortable and contained everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The staff were most polite and friendly. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. After traveling for close to two weeks it was nice to have guest laundry which was accessible and clean. they even offered to provide the laundry soap.

With the excellent shuttle service to take you to and from the hotel, and the many activities included in the hotel, and the included day outing to Duncan, we were able to do and see much more than if we had had to take transit or taxis. Easy to get around --- liked the layout of the facility --- lots of character and everything easy to use --- also appreciated all the items in the gift shop --- staff was great -- very friendly.   Wow what a fabulous place. I couldn't believe how big our suite was, more like an apartment.We had a full kitchen as well. The seating area was really comfortable and we had views over the harbour. There was also a hot tub on the balcony which was great just right for watching the sunset. Near to whale watching companies as well. - The Himwitsa Lodge is a beautiful place to stay. The room was first class. It was very clean and comfortable with lovely decor and furniture and outstanding views across the Pacific ocean. The staff and proprietors were lovely, kind and helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend Himwitsa Lodge. Tofino is a lovely unspoilt place and we hope it remains so. Being from England, we didn't even mind the heavy rain.

Lovely view out to The Empress Hotel, downtown and some water views. Staff was gracious and helpful. The pool area was also nice. Wish we had had more time to swim, but water is deep (5-9 ft).   Best accommodation on our holiday. Very good size very comfortable room. The owner, Wayne, was very friendly and cooked an excellent breakfast. He went out of his way to phone people up to find out about some of the things we wanted to do. As we arrived in town we reached the river and turned onto the road with the guesthouse on it. We highly recommend making use of the pool table at this B and B. It was in excellent condition with great lighting and lots of space. Breakfast was delicious.
