  The rooms were great! Soft lightbulbs, not clinical white.. Nice and bright lighting. Whole room was very warm and attractive. For the money I doubt you'd find anything better :) - Our trip was to help our son relocate to Victoria from Edmonton. It took a few days to move into an apartment so they switched him to a room with kitchenette; (even on-site washer/dryer) with everything he ciuld have needed and spotlessly clean. The decor looked new, possibly just well maintained. Staff very friendly, gave us the room for a good weekly rate, great location just 5 minutes drive from Downtown. Would definitely return to this hotel.

  When we arrived Christy Zheng greeted us. She was professional and covered off all the information we needed to know and sent us off to our room in an efficient manner.   We had a corner room with two windows and a balcony overlooking the inner harbor. The room was lovely with plenty of space and the bed was comfortable. The staff was also helpful and friendly.   The fantastic beach location and all the rooms face onto the beach and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The connection to the first nations community. The beds were very comfortable. Did not eat there so cannot comment on the food service - we were just out too much to be there for meals. Would like to receive any promotional rates email... what people say » s as I would like to stay again if I could afford it. - The history of the Tin-wis was very interesting - it was the site of a residential school in the past and the First Nation people have done an amazing job of turning this place into a beautiful resort area for many to enjoy! the staff was very friendly and helpful and we also enjoyed the Bistro on site. Not just our rooms but the front, the lobby, hallways...everything was updated and beautiful. The towels were so fluffy!
