  Excellent in every respect except the one mentioned under "what you did not like". The apartment was clean, comfortable, well equipped, even with its own (small) washer and dryer. These apartment's are in downtown Cairs, so you have to be prepared for a certain amount of city noise, especially from restaurants in the evening - but given the locati... what people say » on, this was not bad. - Nic location. Opposite to myer and central station. Around 10 minutes walk to ferry place. The apartment is clean and well organized. The staff is polite and helpful especially Alan very nice guy. It's a pleasant stay and I will stay again for next time.

  Hotel is nice. Rom was big but there was only one chair and giving the fact that there is 2 people bedroom... there was a fridge and microwave in the room, so that was good. Nice smalll swimming pool, but we did not use it (the swimming pool at the esplanade is so great!)   We stayed twice at the Pullman International Cairns on this trip. Two nights on the way to Port Douglas and one night on the way back. On the way to Port Douglas we arrived at ten thirty and our room was ready. It was clean, tasteful and had a great view all over Cairns. The breakfast buffet was extensive and the pool and surrounds were beaut... what people say » iful. When we left two bottles of chilled water had been placed in our rental car. On the second stay our room was not ready when we arrived at midd - We just had the best time at your hotel.... We had dinner at Cocos then a complimentary breakfast the next morning which was part of our accommodation package ... Your staff are the most friendly, easy going people we have come across in any hotel we have ever stayed at, even the guys who park our car to the the valet who brings our bags to our room.... 6 star in our books.... Keep up the good work guys & gals ... you make a great team...

  Great place. If you're looking for somewhere to party & have a laugh then this is the place. Stayed in a four bed room with an ensuite shower & toilet which were cleaned everyday. Staff were friendly & helpful along with the tour desk. The club though is brilliant!! Large & loud & does $10 meal/drink deal which was a life save... what people say » r. Would stay here again whenever in Cairns. - Stayed from 19.2.13 - 26.2.13 in room 417 and had an awesome stay. I went with 3 people from work in Brisbane as a get away. We hardly ended up leaving at all because everything was there. I'll be booking again soon. Very hard to fault! Thanks to all the Gilligan's team.

  Receptionist was great, we left clothing behind and she called to make sure we didn't want it. Very clean, nice room and balcony. Great pool area. Used the laundry facilities but it rained so was good to have the balcony to dry it. Walked to a pizza place for dinner and there was other places within walking distance. Relaxing.   Great location away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist strip of Cairns, but within walking distance to the esplanade, shops and restaurants. Friendly, helpful staff who recommended some nice tours. Clean premises and well planned layout with plenty of toilets, showers, kitchens and common areas to relax. Would definitely stay here agai... what people say » n. - I stayed here for one week, the staff are really helpful and friendly, when I arrival cairns, they pick me up from bus station immediately. the kitchen is amazing, you can get any stuff you want. the room is very clean and tidy, the bed and pillow is very soft. I stay here like staying at home. it's the best backpacker I have been to. - We enjoyed our stay at Dreamtime Travellers rest, the guys at the reception were really helpful and they gave us a nice twin room close to the swimming pool, which was super clean and very homy. Considering Cairns's standards, this hostel raises up quite a bit! Friendly but still quiet, and just a 10 minutes stroll to downtown. Great!

  Staff were lovely, very helpful, easy to approach. informative; Room was clean, spacious, comfortable & relaxing; bathroom was good; Everything very clean; Trips easy to organise Room & bathroom supplies were good Check in&out very smooth Easy access to everywhere from its location Great value for money; I would definitely stay again (... what people say » if they'd put up with me!) & would certainly recommend the Discovery Cairns to others - Did what it said on the tin. Reasonable price. Walking distance - 15 mins of main drag but quiet surroundings which I wanted. Good restaurant open for reasonably priced breakfast and dinner. Happy hour at the bar. Receptionists could not have been more helpful. If I return to Cairns I will stay again for sure.
