  We were a couple with a infant. We were recommended to this hotel by a friend. It had cooking facilites we wanted for our baby. T also had Air conditioner, car parking and wi-fi which we look for where ever we go. The staff (receptionist- I assume she is the owner) was very friendly and helped us a lot to plan our sight seeing. Bed was very comfortable.Kitchen area very adequate. Good outdoor BBQ area. Location great - near the Esplanade, shops and airport.   Prices were very good. The location was great since that it was right where the bus stops were that picked you up for your tours. Staff was incredibly helpful when I accidentally booked the wrong sort of room for our stay.   The location was excellent, the room (1 b/room appartment) was very clean and had every thing you would need away from home. Staff were friendly & helpful especially when there was a mix up with my booking, my room had been prepared. Good value for your money. Even the guests staying at Cascade were friendly. I will stay there again next time ... what people say » I visit Cairns. - The Glenda and Chenora were wonderful, welcoming and helpful.The rooms were clean and spacious, and the location was far enough from the center of town to be quiet... but close enough to be walking distance. This hotel/motel was very clean and well laid out (as good as a new building) with swimming pool, breakfast area with the option for a cooked meal - continental provided, spacious outdoor lounge and BBQ area. Three car hire firms a five minute walk away. We have already recommended this hote - Queen's Court had atmosphere. The areas for relaxing are plentiful, aesthetically pleasing and well designed. From the clean rooms equipped with TV, fridges, hair dryer, AC to the included breakfast, this hotel is very budget friendly. Although on a main thoroughfare our room was toward the back of the hotel and noise was not a problem. Exceptionally friendly staff concluded an excellent stay!

  We chose Rainbow inn for the price and then when we got there we loved the hotel, The staff were friendly and welcoming, The room was perfect for us and we walked straight out our door to the pool and spa area which is just so inviting. Reasonable price. Walking distance - 15 mins of main drag but quiet surroundings which I wanted. Good restaurant open for reasonably priced breakfast and dinner. Happy hour at the bar. Receptionists could not have been more helpful. If I return to Cairns I will stay again for sure.

  We really enjoyed our stay here and didn't want to leave. Gail, the manager, was absolutely amazing and couldn't of done anymore for us. We were given so much advice about the local area, Cairns town center and all the tours. The park is the cleanest place we have stayed on our trip so far, the toilets were immaculate and we never saw another pers... what people say » on in them while we were using them. Our room was great, had a nice cooking area, a sofa, tv and a super comfy bed! What more could you want? It is a - Gail the manager and the staff are very friendly and were so helpful to us, like suggesting places to visit and good day trips. A bus service is up the road, so it was very easy for us to get around. We will be back. The park is a pleasant location, with a swimming pool and bbq facilities. Our cabin was pleasant, spacious and great value for money. Very satisfied.
