  We were a couple with a infant. We were recommended to this hotel by a friend. It had cooking facilites we wanted for our baby. T also had Air conditioner, car parking and wi-fi which we look for where ever we go. The staff (receptionist- I assume she is the owner) was very friendly and helped us a lot to plan our sight seeing. Bed was very comfortable.Kitchen area very adequate. Good outdoor BBQ area. Location great - near the Esplanade, shops and airport. Good price for the facilities as a lot of budget accommodation have shared bathrooms.

  Prices were very good. The location was great since that it was right where the bus stops were that picked you up for your tours. Staff was incredibly helpful when I accidentally booked the wrong sort of room for our stay.   Absolutely amazing place to stay, with great staff and superb accommodation. I arrived from my flight at about 5am, 9 hours before check in. This wasnt a problem, was shown straight to the guest lounge and was able to get some sleep and a shower and wait in comfort. The pool was gorgeous, the breakfast was superb, and the ho - We really liked the layout of Palm Royale and so many swimming pools from which to choose.There are plenty of options for ordering meals but they are brought in as I dont think there was a restaurant available to guests. Buffet breakfast is available on site. Red rooster is nearby and a shopping centre within close walking distance.Security staff constantly patrol the site. The room was very good value for money and we would stay again.

  It was our 2nd staying at the property and we enjoyed pretty much for twice accommodation there. It is a little bit different service style comparing with the big deluxe hotels, all the staffs here were all looking after us like family member, which made us feeling “ home away from home”. All - The location of the Bay Tree Hotel was perfect for our tansfer from the airport, the boat to Green Island for snorkelling and the Skytrain / Karunda rainforest expererience. The staff at the hotel desk were extremely helpful, polite and efficient. Breakfast by the pool on a nice sunny morning was perfect and added to our holiday. The room was perfect for the 3 nights we stayed, the confortable bed and the well equipped bathroom with walk in shower was very acceptable.

  As a Local of 33 years we like to treat one self to a bit of luxury. We have stayed here before an loved it. Rooms are very clean n have had a bit of a refurb an look great. Had in room dinning an the food was great, as was the service. Had a in room spa which was relaxing. Was on the second floor did not find road noise to bad. Large balcony was nice, little touches of luxury such as spa bath, large shower, bath robes, mini bar etc. Staff booked our boat trip to the reef for us and they have lots of area knowledge and recommendations, very helpful and friendly!

  Very good location, beautiful view facing the inlet wharf. Quiet but very close to woolworth, restaurants and gift shops. The apartment was huge, modern décor, well cleaned and maintained. As well as the pool facilities. The property is located just a few streets over from the CBD, the pier, the marina and the casino! David the manager was a great guy and went out of his way to provide advise on tours etc to make our trip successful. Would certainly recommend this property to anyone considering staying in Cairns.

We found and booked this hostel through letsbookhotel.com for the first two nights, and decided that if it was not suitable we will change to another one.   We were originally meant to only stayed 4 nights but we stayed the entire 8 of our holidays! It is definitely worth the price you pay. Our room was serviced everyday by the friendly house keepers and were always greeted by the friendly, helpful service desk people. The people at the service desk will always help you book tours, taxi, shuttle bu... what people say » ses and all. Webber whom was a staff member was mainly a huge help to my partner and I!! The breakfast buffet is amazing. They offer a huge variety of - Absolutely loved our stay at the Rydges Esplanade Resort. The staff were helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We checked in prior to 2pm due to a flight reschedule and even though the hotel was close to full the staff did everything they could to get us into our room as quickly as possible which was greatly appreciated. The rooms were very clean and spacious. We had a mountain view room which had stunning views of Cairns at night. If your out during the day, I'd recommend this
