  I went in complaining because it was not the 5 star I mistook for another hotel, BUT because we arrived late, we decided to stay the night and rent an upscale hotel the next morning. To my surprise, I slept like a baby! The bed was super clean and most comfortable, the water pressure and temperature came out fast and effortlessly, not to mention ... what people say » that the towels were clean and crisp, just like I like them. Clean, clean, clean. I love the staff and accommodations and for the money, it doesn't g - My room was clean, quiet, and comfortable and an excellent value for my overnight stay in Tucson in early March. Very close to downtown and conveniently located to U of A. I would stay at the University Inn again and I would recommend it to my friends because it was such a great value.

  I make frequent trips to Tucson and don't need fancy accommodations so I had been staying at the Motel 6 on 22nd and Starr, but decided to try some place else. I've found a great place.   The staff were very helpful. They did manage to get us into a room with a bed and a couch-bed in their very full motel, after not having our reservation on file. The motel is near, but not next to a handy freeway entrance, so trafic noise is minimal.
