Nice room - a little pricey due to the valet parking, but this is a downtown touristic city and no parking. Like the proximity to the shopping mall and Riverwalk. Very comfortable. As such, it has charm, character, elegance and comfort but do not expect modern amenities. For example, the older wing has only one small elevator.   The pool and lazy river was the high light of the trip for my twin 7 year old boys. The nature aspect around the pool sites were just beautiful. - All the staff was very friendly The location is excellent with all the waterfun and the golf course is amazing!

  I've stayed at many highly rated hotels in San Antonio, and Mokara is unquestionably at the top of my list. It starts with superior service - over the top attention to detail. We were walked to the elevator during check-in by a member of the desk staff, and later - accompanied by a doorman down to the riverwalk level of the hotel as he provided us... what people say » with food and drink suggestions. It wasn't pushy or uncomfortable service - just enough to make you feel welcome. Our room was spectacular - really w - Loved the personal touch and attention to detail when it came to staff service. The location is perfect on the River Walk, and the breakfast in the hotel restaurant was great. Rooftop pool was perfect for relaxing, and the spa employees were fun and engaging.

  Had to change nights. Westin and letsbookhotel.com were able to accommodate change. have not been able to do that with other sites. Thanks to ALEX at Westin!! - Loved the pool. Beauitifully designed with good views. Beds very comfortable. Nice and spacious bathroom. Shower is AMAZING.
