  We liked the exquisite lobby, the front and back porches, the grounds,the view, the lake, the secluded location, the ambiance, the pine motif, the cozy seating in front of the fireplace.   The staff was extremely helpful. The room I was originally supposed to stay in was not ready and they automatically upgraded us to a better room extremely quickly, neither was inexpensive but I did appreciate it. Everything is only a phone call away. - Setting, room, the palace, people, amenities available. Haunted house and cast were very good. ... what people say » Food and the food service team were very good. Dinner did take a little long to be served though. - wonderful food and service. Staff was very friendly and polite. went their on our honeymoon in 2013 and we both loved it and plan to return. Highly recommended for a romantic getaway for two.

  I liked the activities they had on Saturday. Staff is extremely friendly and try to their best ability to accommodate you.
