We were really impressed with the hotel. Surprisingly nice for such a great price. It isn't in manhattan but it is a 10 min walk between 2 metro stations and fast to get to everywhere. The area itself was multi cultural which means great food! We received the apartment on the highest floor - 36 with an astonishing view. We could see all the buildings including the Chrysler building. more like living in NYC than visiting & living in a Hotel.. If you dont mind taking out the trash yourself and making your own bed, this is for you! Ask for an apartment as high up as possible. We got one on the 8th which was fine - but would have preferred 36th :-)
A lot of deli's, cafe's and grocery stores in the area for + a dunking' donut next door for a quick cup of joe or breakfast..
Can highly recommend the apartment - location in NYC is everything.. its a 2 min walk from the Empire
