  We loved the complete set-up, the maritim style throughout the hotel. Common areas were nicely furnished and with great views of the marina. In the evening the staff would light bonfires on the different terraces.The rooms were bright and spacious with balconies, the bathroom was big and nice and staff was very friendly and accommodating. Erica at the bar was attentive and made you feel like you've been showing up there for years. The gentleman who provide fires outside for two nights was a very nice man.

  Indoor waterpark was great for kids (11 & 6). Be sure to read there website about the waterpark. Great for rainy days. Also the arcade was quite big which also took up some time (and money) for the kids. Downtown Lake George Village was nice for shopping and finding places to eat. I felt safe being there with just myself and my small 4 children. I left a few items behind when I checked out and they mailed the items to me- who does that?   I liked the service and people were very nice. Eric the bellboy was nice and friendly. They welcomed us and opened doors for us. The staff was professional and helpful. I liked bowling with Henry and Racquetball too. - The Staff was friendly, helpful and the facility was clean.

  Very nice place just outside (2 miles) the craziness of the village. We wanted 'quiet' but close enough to enjoy the downtown area. We drove into town but the trolley is available just outside the Colonel Williams. The owners/staff are very attentive and the grounds/rooms are well cared for. But we were out and about most days & didn't use it (except for 2 days dur - The owners allowed our son to take a shower after picking him up from camp after we had already checked out. We stayed a week and - This place is an authentic jewelry! The location is ideal, in the lively city center but right on the lake, featuring a private beach provided with chairs, canoe, paddle boats, toys for the kids, etc.; the staff is professional and attentive, the people in charge of the room cleaning very efficient; our room was quiet and comfortable; the pool and the whirlpools are a nice "plus". We will definitively come back!

We also enjoyed evening coffee and night caps in the Bistro and also in the Cottage - Historic, gorgeous Inn with tons of character, both inside and out. Decorated in unique Adirondack style. Awesome whirlpool and indoor pool on the ground floor. Spa is renowned. Breakfast buffet in The View restaurant was delicious. Room was plenty big for three women and tastefully decorated. Hotel is perfectly located right on the lake and a close walk to everything in town.

  We enjoy the porch and the view of the lake. The room and fireplace are cozy and relaxing. There was a wedding going on and we were treated to the fireworks that went off that evening for them! - I loved the view!!.. and the hotel room was nice.. the king sized bed was so comfy

  The hotel is kept in reasonable condition. Room is spacious. The surrounding is ski & golf, so it is basically good place to spend a holiday. - I loved the amount of activities that were available to us. I also loved the look of the resort.

  It was easy access to gaming. Rooms were very comfortable. Prompt service when asking for towels for three. Extremely quiet hotel. Considering going again for Easter if there is a special for two nights stay.
