The owner Mark and all his staff were extremely helpful. The B&B has lots of unique artefacts and is a really individual place to stay. Innkeeper friendly and very knowledgeable about nyc. Staff went out of their way to help us out. All of this, and it was a better value than the hotels we could find in the area. Just be aware that nyc requires walking, and the subway was a few blocks away. And of course nyc is more expensive than most cities.

The rooms are very clean and the equipment is excellent (including washing machine, laundry dryer, hairdryer, computer and printer, ac's etc.). The fridge was always full with water and necessary

We stepped off the street and into the past. What a place to stay at. One of the highlights of our stay in America. We were given a code for the front door so we could arrive at all hours and immediately set off to a nearby subway to see the town. Felt s - Kiki, I guess the house manager, has been brilliant. She has fixed our room arrangement issue and has been helpful on many other things. We love the room setting - very homy and luxuries at the same time, bathroom/towels are very clean. Have to mention the breakfast too - good selection and extremely nice dinning room.
