  We had requested a non-smoking room, but could smell smoke in the room that we were checked in to. We spoke to the staff and they moved us immediately to an acceptable room.   For a small motel in a small Minnesota town I was thrilled at all of the amenities offered. When I requested the staff notify me if another day had a cancellation, the staff remembered and let me know in time so I could cancel a reservation at another hotel and stay straight through at AmericInn.   we thought that it was a very nice motel for the price. We would definitely stay here again. The motel is located next to Lake Superior, the rooms were nice, breakfast was delicious! - Great location for a great price. Good soundproofing, breakfast was good, pool & hot tub comfortable to use, everything clean and bed comfortable.

  very friendly and helpful , paid twice as much for a room similiar two weeks ago and it wasn't as nice as your rooms. Service was better too! - We knew we wouldn't,t be in the room alot so it met our needs. It was a small quiet room. Nothing special but it was cheap.

  Very well kept, clean, nice continental breakfast. Staff was friendly and available. Rooms all had themes such as Back to the 50's, Garden, Sports,nicely done. - I have been staying at this facility for about 7 years now a couple of times a year. It is always clean and the folks friendly.
