the room was small, but nice and budget friendly. It was across the street from Mayo,
where we needed to go. there was a variety of places to eat in the hotel itself and within walking distance. the shuttle was a great asset to the area. The people were all very friendly and helpful.

The staff at the front desk are very welcoming and helpful. A problem with the room was quickly remedied. The location was near the Capitol Building and other attractions and was easy to get into and out of for a downtown hotel. The room, though small, was pleasant and the bed was great. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms were beautiful! Old charm with modern feel - the best of both worlds. Very convenient to get to local attractions and restaurants - it is right on the skyway system. I will definitely stay here the next time I have an event in St. Paul.

I liked that the pool/hot tub was open unitl 11 PM, most hotels close their pools at like 9 PM. I really liked the layout of the suite rooms. It was roomy with a semi separate sitting/relaxing area. The staff was always curtious and very helpful. I really like the convenience of having the Caribou & Jimmy Johns right there along with a rest... what people say » araunt for options. Of course, as most people who stay there we were attending the Mayo Clinic for health reasons. We most liked the ease of getting to the clinic, your helpful staff when we asked questions or needed extra supplies and the fact that there were short order restaurants when we needed a quick lunch.

It had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. Not a five star motel, but, a lot better than some chain motels I've stayed in. -

GREAT location, just a few blocks from coffee shops, restaurants and the West Bank, where we needed to be over the weekend. Room was well-sized, wifi worked well, beds were suuuuper comfortable, and it was really nice to have a kitchenette. Staff were really nice and helpful. I stayed at the hotel... what people say » because I had a medical procedure at the u of mn. The location was perfect less than a mile from hospital and it was quiet for the recovery after the procedure. At a regular hotel you would have heard people going up and down the hallway, here it was peaceful.
