  We had requested a non-smoking room, but could smell smoke in the room that we were checked in to. We spoke to the staff and they moved us immediately to an acceptable room.   For a small motel in a small Minnesota town I was thrilled at all of the amenities offered. When I requested the staff notify me if another day had a cancellation, the staff remembered and let me know in time so I could cancel a reservation at another hotel and stay straight through at AmericInn.
